Volutional 935 Share Posted September 19, 2012 The man leans on his golden staff and scans the crowd that has gathered, and gestures around them all as he begins to speak once more, "If we do not act and prepare once more, and better than we did in Aegis, everything here will burn and turn to ash; it matters not if the origin of this threat is of Iblees or not. The message must be sent, people must prepare to fight once again. Drakes, black mages, necromancers and other-worldly forces threaten our very way of life." He quiets down again and scans the crowd, listening for any responses. Marcys Nightscar in fact heard this. He heard this because he was saying just the same thing to himself. Marcys walks forward, his hood firmly struck down hiding his eyes and covering his face in a veil of darkness. He walks near enough to be seen, and heard. As he does the pipe in his mouth is released, his face glows for a brief moment. A scar on his right eye hence visible. The whole of that eye is covered in whiteness. "The words of a non-combatant. One would dare to speak so badly of their enemy without a weapon. Be in my safety and you may speak as loud and bright as you wish. And not one sword will scare your neck. For the time has come to mobilize under one wholesome banner, under the scar of the night and the death of the red. Words from the ancient prophecy, the one that I must tell thee, has became truth once already. Al Khazar fell as it should, but this world is not ready to fall. Should it be, along with lava and fire. Wings and cold. Then I shall be ready. Let your words have poison behind them, wise one. For I bid thee welcome should you wish to come hence into darkness against the soaring fires."
Djinne 32 Share Posted September 19, 2012 *Djinne sits atop one of the trees, directly above where the conversation is taking place. Assuming a comfortable postition, he begins to listen intently to the conversation, perhaps hoping to gain a measure of information that he does not yet know. His eyes snap suddenly to the staff of the old man, and his own alpha purple eyes sharpen in question. He leans forward, beginning to perhaps take this situation more seriously. Swgrclan 2682 Author Share Posted September 19, 2012 "The nations must co-operate despite their differences and quarrels. Racial conflict is nonsense when we face such dangerous threats. So many lives are at stake.." He sighs softly, and reaches into his hood to rub his chin, keeping quiet again as he waits for more responses. [[Edit: Response to Vol.]] "Wise I am not, friend; though your riddles confuse me, I assume I understand your words. I respect you, and see you as the rare, wiser few rather than I; I am but a Patron's messenger." Feeling both understanding and confused by Marcys' words, he pauses shortly after he speaks to in-take what he said. Exhaling a heavy breath he looks to the crowd and speaks out once more, "I am both messenger and war-fighter, recruiter and prophet. What I ask from you, those who have garnered interest, is that you spread the word to your cities. To your families, sons, daughters and mothers. Nobles, merchants, beggars and kings. Send them warning that the end-times are coming, and it must be halted."

Fredfort (jens6851) 283 Share Posted September 19, 2012 Tyret nods a bit as the man continues his speech, slowly turning around, seeming to be in deep thought. "I will find ye-... I'll deal with ye later.." Tyret wanders off, seeming to ponder over The Elder (Eledyrs) last words, blinking a few times, not holding around his axe handle anymore. Megacomet 25 Share Posted September 19, 2012 (( Sorry for lack of response, I wasn't able to reply for the last few hours.)) Herith Eldecia, whilst the others discussed, slid into silence, simply observing as he half-reads his book. Itching his nose, he closes his book and stands up, rejoining the crowd. Fidgeting nervously, he speaks, "T-this is an i-nteresting proposition. Though, I don' think there will be a p-problem. Most likely any destruction against the Aeg-people of Asulon will be self-inflicted, as always."
