An Important Announcement!

A note is pinned firmly to the noticeboard of Branborough, and fliers are stuffed into the doors of every occupied burrow in town. A few of these fliers hang up inside the Drunken Sheep Inn.

Attention, Halflings!

A festival is being held in the town of Branborough this (Friday the 21 of September, starting 3pm PST). All Halflings are welcome to come, so invite your friends and family. There will be many contests, including

• the Pumpkin Contest -
  Grow the best pumpkin in all of Branborough. Once the largest is judged, there will be a pumpkin carving party, and of course, pumpkin pie!
  
  
• the Burrow Judging contest -
  Being hosted by the Better Burrow Club, judging the best burrow in all of the Vale. Tidy up, as the BBC will be judging it without your knowing.
  
  
• an Ale Brewing contest -
  Brew the best ale that you can, be it whiskey, beer, or wine! There will also be a drinking party after the drinks are judged, so let us see who can drink the most ale!
  
  
• a Cow Catching contest -
  A cow will be released into Branborough. The winner is the Halfling who catches it! Caution, the bull does have horns.
  
  
• the Halfling Foot-Race -
  Participate in the Branborough run, and go the fastest that you can! Remember to drink plenty of water beforehand, we do not wish to see anyone sick. Foul play may occur, so be on your toes!
  
  
• the Bumper Boat Challenge
  By far one of the most dangerous events held this day, it will include fierce oars and speedy boats. The goal is to knock any other contestant out of their boat. Only the fearless may join!
  
  
• a Scavenger Hunt
  We will not be giving away the details of this event. Be ready for a puzzling search, though.
  

Wonderful prizes will be handed out to the winners of this contest. Best of luck!
