In your own words, define what the act of roleplaying is: Roleplaying is complicated. You have to be someone you aren't, play a different person with a different personality, but at the same time have fun! I run a Pathfinder game, been running it about a year now, so I think I know what it is.

In your own words, define what the act of meta-gaming is: Using Out of Character knowledge, ie things your character wouldn't know but you do, to influence In Character actions.

In your own words, define what the act of power-emoting is: I didn't know what this was at first, but after looking it up, the term "god-modding" came to mind, so it's essentially a form of power gaming in which the offender insists they killed or looted the other player, despite the actual events.

Character Name: Bel Riose

Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:

Bel Riose was born into a military household. They lived a comfortable but not extravagant life, in service of His Most Gracious, Lord Reynard Lycian, True King of Renatus. Commander Shen Riose was at the Battle of the Boot and the Fall of Greenwall. With the Usurper gaining the throne and subsequent redistribution of the lands, the proud Riose found themselves homeless and shamed.

Still young and filled with ideas and patriotism for the True King, Bel Riose grew up under the perceived chains of the 'Holy' Oren Empire, an institution which only brought misery and woe to his family.

The last insult was the death of his father, Shen Riose. He watched him wither away in poverty and a shame, a man he had grown up looking at as the paragon of the Patriot. So it was then Bel Riose vowed his revenge upon the False King and his Tyrannical Empire, no more would the honorable suffer! Bel Riose swore, even if his soul be damned, he would smash the Light of the False King.

What are your characters ambitions?: To bring down the Holy Oren Empire and avenge the memory of his father and family.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?

Bel Riose sighed, passing the poor dwarf as he continued forward. While some of his wares might be valuable, and some of them he desperately needed, his life had not been kind, and Riose himself owned the only thing he wore; the armor of his father. Perhaps one day he might return, if the shopkeeper lives, and buy something. But by then, Riose ponders, it would be too late.

You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?

The quarrels of the other races never concerned Riose, his mind given over to the need of his people, under the oppression of the Thrice Damned Usurper King, but he knew what his father would do. He was an honorable and noble man, and this could not continue in the presence of a Riose. "Halt there, Orc. Might I ask what this quarrel is about?" He asked, aware of the fact the green skin would probably resort to violence soon. They always did.

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenseless* man. What does your character do?:

The coins glittered in the light, reflecting in the briefest flashes the faint memory of a better time for Riose. He sighed, taking a knee to help the old man up. "You should carry a stronger stick then that, Old one, for these roads will break more than sticks to the unwary." Riose takes the bag, gripping it by the split and pinching it shut as he placed in it the coins. "A stronger purse might also be a wise investment."

A good application, although the ORQs are shorter than I'd like. Also, be aware that Power-Emoting is indeed like power-gaming, and can be roughly defined as emoting in a way that prevents others from responding to the emotes or creates an overpowered character. You may also want to look more in-depth at the Villain Applications, as creating political chaos and corruption might be something you wish to pursue with this character.
