*Derrek Elendil returns from wandering the marvelous architecture and is bumped into by Isabella tripping over her dress*

"Careful Bella, You should get that dress shortened. Now go make friends,"

*Derrek scuffles his sisters hair and looks up, scanning the room for activity.*

*Lilibeth spots Derrek, and motions for him to come. She then returns to Patrick still waiting for his well-thought response. She ponders a bit while she waits and continues to wear a sincere smile.*

Aemond's smile would briefly cease as he looks down to his arm, his smile swiftly returns as he notices isabella. He gives her one look over before turning to face her.

" You look gorgeous! " He replies before pausing, and picking up where he left off

" But I think you are lovely even without the fancy clothing...Though they are nice touches! "

Aemond would nod in agreement to isabella as she makes the comment on the large amount of people present at the event. Patting away a small crease in the golden undershirt benaeth his open robe before seeking to grasp onto her hand, should he succeed he walks her closer to the tapestry, smiling to it.

" Aren't these tapestries just marvelous? So much history within their threads. "

-Smiles and blushes a deep red on her cheeks at his compliment and slips her arm into his, linking instead and is guided to the wall.

"I've never seen anything like this before." She said in awe gazing up at the fine threads. "Have you? Do you know what any of it means?" she looks at him then back at the tapestry.

She begins to lead him off, and unlinks his arm as she begins walking around near the walls edge gazing around the room, tripping over her dress as she goes.

As she trips for the 5th time she walks into her brother and frowns at him.

"I said to Piper it might be a bit long when she made it for me... She said I would grow into it...and I am making friends! Go flirt with your girlfriend, silly!" she giggles and indicates she's with Aemond, shaking her head from her brothers heavy hand.

"Please don't mess up my hair! Piper done it all special!"

Rio hears about the Ball, and so he decides to attend. He gets his black tunic, and puts on a hood, so he wouldn't take on any attention.

Rio arrives to the gate of the Hall and removes his hood. He comes in, and the Herald announces...

"Introducing, Lord Rio Lionhart of Simonia."

Rio smiles as he does in the crowd, and spots Elizabeth, that he saw quite a few times in Ildon. He walks closer, a little concerned. As he walks towards them, he spots Kaitlyn. He waves to her, and motions her to come here, so he can have someone to talk to.

*Derrek chuckles down at Bella and winks*

"Aye, alright. Be careful,"

*sighs and looks up to see Elizabeth motion for him, he makes his way to her and the others, curious of why there is such a cluster of people. He brushes past the minor crowd until he reaches Elizabeth, placing his hand onto her opposite shoulder and turning to Patrick and the others*

"Everything alright here?"

*Derrek chuckles down at Bella and winks*

"Aye, alright. Be careful,"

*sighs and looks up to see Elizabeth motion for him, he makes his way to her and the others, curious of why there is such a cluster of people. He brushes past the minor crowd until he reaches Elizabeth, placing his hand onto her opposite shoulder and turning to Patrick and the others*

"Everything alright here?"

*She glances to him quickly and begins to speak.*

"Yes, and don't mind what your sister says... I don't think she understands. All that's happened is this man challenged Grandpa Boiendl."

*Lilibeth continues to wait for Patrick's response, and for Derrek to say something.*

Sees Rio and walks over. As she is walking to him, she spots Elizabeth. She is a little concerned too, children being around wine-drinking adults is a little odd.

"Hail Rio." she smiles "Never knew you would attend. But I thank you for it... didn't want to just stand here and drink wine, then come home all tipsy."

*Derrek gives each of the men a look and nods with a scratch of his chin*

"Alright,"

-Watches her brother go and looks at the group of people clustered around. Not wanting to get involved for fear of a panic attack, she continues to look around, gazing at the many portraits and pictures, waiting for Aemond to snap from his day dream.

Isabella lifts her gaze upwards catching sight of the Emperor, sitting majestically on his throne. She curtsies as she had been taught to and gives a small shy smile and slight wave at him. She whispers to Aemond, "I think he's my cousin... I don't really know. He calls Papa 'uncle' so what does that make?"

She frowns slightly trying to figure it out.

Piper walks over and stands by her daughter, smiling at her in an assuring way. "Don't worry my dear, these men won't possibly ruin the emperor's ball with their squabbling". She llooks up and gives them both a look of distaste.

*Elizabeth turns to Derrek, seeing as Patrick is in some day dream.*

"So before Bella interrupted us last time, I asked, which girl in her do you want to ask for a dance."

*Lilibeth giggles and does NOT mean herself, but Derrek could take it that way.

She continues to wrap a strand of hair around her finger.*

*She then looks up to Piper and says "I know."*

Rio chuckles "I am well known for doing that too... it's in the family."

Rio decides to take some wine that a waiter is walking around with. He just reaches for two glasses as the waiter passes by. He takes them and gives one to Kaitlyn.

"Is Alianor coming? It would be nice if he would. I haven't seen him since... ages ago actually."

Rio gets so nostalgic he scratches his beard.

*Derrek makes a slight shrug and rubs the back of his neck*

"I-I don't dance,"

Rio chuckles "I am well known for doing that too... it's in the family."

Rio decides to take some wine that a waiter is walking around with. He just reaches for two glasses as the waiter passes by. He takes them and gives one to Kaitlyn.

"Is Alianor coming? It would be nice if he would. I haven't seen him since... ages ago actually."

Rio gets so nostalgic he scratches his beard.

Kaitlyn shrugs and takes the wine. "Thanks. And Alianor might be busy with new settlers, but I think it would be nice for him to come." Kaitlyn looks up at the lanterns and then back at the crowd. She notices Piper, but this time she just stands there, next to Rio. There is a slight pause, and then she asks "Since when did you want to grow a beard?"

*Derrek makes a slight shrug and rubs the back of his neck*

"I-I don't dance,"

"It's rather easy. Now let me rephrase my question. Which girl catches your eye?"

*Lilibeth giggles even more and still does not mean her, but Derrek could still take it that way. She also wants to teach Derrek to dance but she doesn't know if he wants that.*
