History

One of the first human settlements outside of the capital city, the King of Oren ordered Lord Tyrion Lannister to go south and provide a new community from which fish and glass could be collected to help support the growing kingdom. Now a picturesque community on the shores of the massive Whisper Lake, The Whisper Isles struggles to provide goods and shelter to travelers on the King's Road and to combat the criminal efforts of bandits in the surrounding wilds.

-The Whisper Isle is looking for guards. Guards will be given living quarters in the guard building and will be payed (not much though because they are getting free items anyways). If you are interested in becoming a guard please contact Lord Tyrion Lannister (itechify).

I heartily support this idea. We've been charged by the king to try to combat the banditry in the area. The recently opened Holmes detective agency seems to be some kind of organization interested in stopping crime as well.

We support the idea of Kal rog becoming a centralized trade district and would love to help humans and visitors to Oren travel safely there, whether they are traders or simply travelers.

I hope they'll consider Whisper Isles a safe haven to stop in along the way, with a handful of our own shops and a very quickly growing population of home owners and artisans.

Yes, there is a relation in the name, I have read the books, but I am actually friends with the Starks in game, so I don't make my character according to the books.

I think that we should add a shopping area in Whisper Isle just a few not competing with Kal'rog. I own a home in Whisper Isle and would be willing to open a shop in the area.

How much are these houses and plots going for? I drifted by there earlier and saw someone building a giant underwater glass covered torch filled abomination and i kinda started swimming back the other way.

Yes, the glass basements are slowly being addressed. The oldest homes have full foundations but the newer ones people haven't used dirt and sand to fill their plots in. It is not intended that any homes in the region have period inappropriate construction such as glass that can withstand underwater pressure without leaking or breaking.
