Something at the Gates (RP)

A young High Elf, battered and bruised lies outside of the gate. His clothes are torn and dirty, his pack is ripped apart right in front of him, the contents spilled everywhere. He does not move, though the sound of light breaths escapes from his mouth. His face is covered in scratches, blood and bruises. It looks as if a group of people hit him with blunt objects. You see a broken stick only a few feet away. It is large, thick, and hard. Perhaps it was one of the weapons used to attack the young High Elf.

A book lies on the ground, it is covered with mud and looks as if something happened to it. This book has the hole as if a blade of some type went through it.

The contents of his bag are either crushed, broken, or gone. For no food, or weapons remain.

The High Elf does not have any wounds except for the bruises, scratches, and possibly broken bones.

Seth just arrieved to the gate as he was about to start his own proclaimed guard duty as he sees the wounded elf, he rushes to the gatehouse opens the gate and runs out to him with a sword drawn in case the bandits was around the cornor, yet no one is there, only the beaten elf, he sighs as he seaths his weapon and looks at the things around him, seeing nothing that could hold value in minas nor emotions as he starts to carry the elf inside.

"Poor one.. The second mali outside of our gate that is close to death near our gate.." Seth smiles weakly as he thinks on the other elf. "Well, he wont end like her." He says to himself as he carrys the elf.

Part 2

As the young High Elf is carried in by Seth, he groans in pain, not awake, just the pain from his injuries or a nightmare of sorts. As he is carried, a small golden pendant with a ruby in the middle and engraved in silver falls out of one of his pockets. When it falls, it opens up to reveal the words: "To find your way again." in elven. Though this valuable item emotionally and in minas, is short lived, for when it fell down, it broke into thousands of shards. The only thing that remained of it was the small steel plate engraved with those words.

(I have no idea what those words are in elven, so I just used the English version. Don't hate me D:)

Seth spots the pendent as it hits the ground, unable to catch it due to the elf in his arms, the places the elf up by the gate house door as he goes inside to close the gate, after he makes his way out again he picks up the small steel plate and puts it in his pocket, he then starts to carry the elf, towards the inn where hopefully there is a free room where the wounded elf could stay as he recoveres.

Part 3

As the young High Elf is carried to the inn, his eyes flicker open for just a moment, barely seeing anything. Now that he was partially awake, the pain came at him head-on he screamed in pain, yet this was short lived for his fell unconscious yet again. But before he fell unconscious, he said the words: "Who am I?"(or "Where am I?") faintly.

Kalenz glances to Seth and the young elf.

"Odd" He mutters to himself before walking over "Who might this be?"

Then the shout of pain came. Loud enough to be heard throughout the city. The shout came from the young elf.

Sighs after hearing the elf scream in pain twice. "One found just outside of the gate.. I am carrying him up to an inn room, I know little more then that about elmali. You can of course come with me. " He says before walking up the stairs.

Part 4

Several days later...

The elf wakes up in a bed with bandages around his right arm, and chest. He is looking around, as if trying to see if anyone was in the room with him. When he saw that no one was there, he sighed and began to try and get up. But before he could even get up, his body writhed in pain. "Arg!" he exclaimed as he fell back on his back. He than began st speak, as if trying to see if anyone was there. H-Hello? he said.

Seth was on his way to the room with a kind of tasty soup, just like the other days as he feeded the poor elf, he opens the door to see the elf. "Ahh, awake at last, you are a sleepy one I must say." Seth tilts his head a little as he places the soup and with a spoon on a small table besides the bed. "Do you think you are able to feed yourself this day?"

"I-I think so." he said as he was taking the spoon and bowl. He began to eat, slowly. "What happened?" he asked after he finished the soup.

Seth places a small steel plate on the table, where small text reading "Ito ehier nor'vanmalyem nae." He says with a calm and casual voice. Seth then leans by a wall. "I can only guess from how I found you, beaten by a large stick by someone, if not more people, they broke all of your things or took it, what you see on the small table is the only thing remaining of yours, a rather special inscription, one that might lead to us." Seth tilts his head a little. "I used a half day to find out what it meant, who did give you this?"

He sits still for a moment and looks as if he is trying to remember something "I-I don't know..." he said sadly. "I don't remember that much at all, all I do remember is being in terrible pain, then darkness." he said.

He then picks up the small steel plate and looks at it as if trying to find out where it came from and who gave it to him. Then he sets it back down as if he did not want to let go of it.

Seth sighs quietly before speaking again. "I see, san kae'leh Seth Calith, heya'san nae'leh?" Seth tilts his head, wondering how the elf will respond.
