The Red Path

Bodies are strewn about on the grounds surrounding Haspi's Haven, just off the dwarven path from the Cloud Temple. Many of them dwarven, though there are a few non-dwarves. The tavern is left abandoned, tracks leading to the Temple and in the direction of Oren.

As Trevor leads the last slave away from the cell, his gaze scans over the blood-soaked carnival grounds and nearby gore-covered hill. It will not be long before word spreads and monks, dwarves, and others come rushing to the scene. Trevor grabs a piece of paper and coal from the basement of the inn, leaving a note on one of the dwarven bodies before leaving with the others. The note's message is simple, and becoming ever-more familiar to the people of Asulon...

"From the shadows, comes a dark raven."

Emberhard wanders back over to the party, which he was with before the apparent battle loss.

"hhhmm" the lone standing figure grunts, solemnly scanning the field of death. His brows frown and he stretches his neck for a better view, sighting trampled land in direction of Oren.

Emberhard slowly begins to wander between the bodies, not taking long for the white parchment to appear through all the mess, he snatches it off the body.

"hhmm...well that's quite....opposite..." he puzzles over the paper upon reading it

Emberhard flips the paper over, inspecting it for more before folding it into his coat pocket. He glances around for any spectators before stepping over the body and making way towards the tempe.

*Kjell Ireheart examines the collection of dead Dwarves confused, many of them are unfamiliar to himself but then again he does know every Dwarf in the city.*

"Dese mus' be 'eretics," *he mutters as he rests his blade in the soil as he continues to examine the scene.*

"Nae Dwarf woold give up wi'f oot a foight! Dey cannae be oors." *He says in a more audible tone, Kjell holds firmly on his blade's hilt and pulls it out of the ground leaving a puddle of green hissing ichor as he leaves the scene un convinced of a new threat.*
