A bloodied figure approaches Malinor.

*As the recently reconstructed ship makes port. A blonde wood elf, 6ft3 approaches a crowd of people gathering near the docks of Normandor. He has white bandages tightly wrapped around his chest covering a wound that is stained a dark red where blood has dried. His mouth also shows a similar resemblance as crusty dried blood has collected at the bottom of his chin. In his hand is a note.. whilst making no effort to interact with the people, a person pulls it out of his hand and begins to read it aloud to the group. As this happens the elf stares blankly past the people as if they were not there.*

The note is written in elegant calligraphy upon a piece of parchment bearing the mark of the monks.

To whom this may concern,

The Scout of the Normandor guard known as Tengen So'hei has recently left our infirmary. After a night of intensive care we are happy to report that his condition has somewhat improved. He was brought to us by a Trainee who has explained that he was attacked for unknown reasons by those who are yet to be identified. He was last seen being dragged unconscious by two armoured men towards the cloud temple being closely followed by someone covered in black and white stripes.. from there it is unknown where he ended up. We took care of his numerous injuries, which consisted of a stab wound to the chest, a broken rib but more concerning we blotch the end of what was left of his tongue as it appears to have been ripped out with a great force.

He is well on the road to recovering however it may be months even years before he is able to speak again. What troubles us however is Tengen's reaction to this ordeal. Since we have found him, he has been in a complete state of shock. He has come to once in a while, but quickly breaks down or violently resists contact with others. It is with this we ask that a close eye is kept on him while he regains his sanity. What ever he witnessed it has left a deep imprint on his mind.
