A Gruesome Discovery..

Carrying his catch for the day and on his way home, Karza steps off the ship into Menorcress. Immediately the meat he is carrying's odour masks a horrific secret lingering in the stagnant cave air. Leaping off the boat onto the rocky, rough shore of the cave, Karza immediately senses a difference in the atmosphere of the network of caves; quieter than usual with a strange grey haze which gets thicker the further he walks. He comes to the notice board a few hundred paces away from the boat which usually contains the laws and rules of the caverns and notices that the normal writings have been scratched away, replaced by a nefarious message, a precursor of what was to come.

The malicious writings etched onto the wall mixed with the strange, unfamiliar atmosphere eggs Karza on to move a little bit faster than he was before. Strolling around the corner the smell of the meat he is carrying is immediately overriden by a putrid stench which Karza flinches at and drops his dead prey onto the floor. He waits at that site for a second, trying to figure out the smell's origin point, speeds up even further and rashly turns a corner, scrunching his face up at the macabre sight he would lay his eyes on next..

A shocked expression lay upon the large Kha's face as pieces of the puzzle start to come together, blowing out a large amount of air at the Mori corpses hung from the cave roof. "Whawt een Metztli's name..?" He mutters under he breath, briskly strolling to the right hand side exit towards the main city he narrows his eyes as another unfamiliar sight comes into view, a large spider web, as if they were trying to shield something.

After a long time fighting his way through the sticky web that a large spider had clearly made, Karza finally comes out in a small area with a large pike in the middle of it. Looking closer he catches a glimpse of what he at first believes to be part of a structure in the cave, he soon realises that it is something far, far worse.. "Whawt happawned he'awr..?"

*Tla'Morthawl notices a stern change in Dra'Karza's behaviour and motion as he patrols the city of Xer'Tlaasu. He narrows his eyes as he thunders down from the platform above, landing with a mighty thud on the tree below as he looks to Karza with an unsure expression. "Dra'Karza, eesa suumthawn tha' mattawr?"

The large Dra continues his daily tasks and jobs without a hitch but seemed to pace around slightly, looking for any other Kharajyr around. However he is obviously distracted and a little shocked by what he saw, no matter how much he would try to shake it off. This mood, the distraction and the swirling thoughts in his head cause him to jump slightly as Morthawl lands with a thud by his side. "The'awr awr Maw'ree cawrpses evawrwhe'awr.." He utters in a strangely unphased and feigned voice trying to mask the shock, speaking directly to Morthawl and motioning his head towards the exit to Menorcress.
