Do note this is a thread on his character, not how he handles logging off.

There's nothing special or interesting about High Elves that strive to be unique. Unique High Elves are a dime a dozen to be honest. What's really interesting in our community is when people start with a lore-correct High elf, and then build on them through experiences that happen in role-play.

The fact of the matter is, his character DOES NOT make sense when following the lore. You have no idea how many High Elves try to be special snowflakes. There are so many that want to be that one unique High Elf that doesn’t follow High Elven beliefs. As I said, dime a dozen.

That’s not the point though. Most of those characters make sense though, even if they’re somewhat lore-breaking. Thilln'iyat does not make much sense, and aspects of him can be seen as fairly powergamey, or just plain odd.

There is no way at all that a 13 year old High Elf should weigh as much as he does. There are few fully grown High Elves that way as much as him, because as a general rule; High elves are tall and slim. If you want a well-built High Elf, you really need to have a good RP reasoning/explanation for why he’s like that.

My example, quoted directly from my in-progress Magic Application.

“As a Mali’aheral, he stands reasonably tall, at approximately 190 cm, and weighing about 90 kg. He is built noticeably sturdier than the average High Elf. This can be attributed to the way he was raised, and his lifestyle which involves a hearty, nutrient rich diet, along with the 75 or so years he has spent living on farms, doing all sorts of manual labour.”

When his character makes no sense; then no, we can’t just go on about it like everything is normal. Ignoring many of the inconsistencies between that characters personality and the High Elven lore, we really just want that characters we’re RPing with to be plausible.

In terms of personality, go ahead and be a special snow-flake if you want. Most do, but as for physical aspects; please just try to make him a little more High Elfy. He is after all, a High Elf.

For reference: Dio: If you want an appropriate racial figure then around 190cms (about 6’2”) at 75kg (about 165 lb.) I think would be good.

Note; that is for a fully grown High Elf. For a child/teenager it should be appropriately lesser than that.

Now, as Jazzy said; we're not trying to be hostile. We're perfectly happy to have him as a member of our community, we would just like to lessen the discrepancies a bit.
