Who is Thilln’iyat?

Thilln’iyat is my thirteen year old High Elven character that I am currently playing with. He has an accepted minor VA for 1a. He is basically me, well without the stealing, and the amnesia, and having blonde hair and sapphire blue eyes, and being really racist. He is smart, kind, sometimes sarcastic, helpful, and tall. I mean really tall 6’1” and he weighs about 180 lbs. But here is where it gets confusing; He has amnesia. He does not remember anything from his life, except his name. To introduce Thilln to Asulon I created a forum RP based around Haelun’or where my character is first introduced. Now I am somewhat mature IRL, so I want my character to be as well, though some people dislike that and want him to be a 6’1” three year old in a diaper. Now I have heard that Elves age like Human for the first 20 or so years of their life. So I used this.

He is sarcastic at times, and always tries to help people. Well as long as they are High Elves and not Humans, Dwarves, Orcs, or any impure elves. Thus I get hate on that. Having a helpful character for me is fun, because you can get into very strange situations, like for instance, being in the middle of an Orcish Raid! Or when you let in an elf who is actually a member of the White Rose (which happened today xD)! I like to make funny RP, such as sneezing on Kalenz when my character had a bloody nose, or knocking into someone and making them spill wine all over Lucion. He likes to pull pranks, and loves to read. I mean LOVES to read. He will spend countless hours in the Library reading. As do I IRL.

So, I hope this will clear things up at the best. At the worst, I hope this at least makes you less confused.

I don't think a 6'1 210 pound 13 year old High Elves makes sense at all, to be honest. High Elves really aren't strong at all and we're generally built slimmer. Change this please. ^^

No, considering High Elves grow like humans until 20 and he's 13.

Being really obese doesn't make you strong. High Elves generally have extremely high metabolism as well. We're slender and skinny.

I reckon the strongest high elf is either Arthane, Seth or Delonna. And those are full grown high elves. Further would it be very odd if a high elf of that age, who spends most of his time studying/reading, is that strong...

First of all, I apologize if myself or any of my friends are coming off as hostile. That's not our intention.

Apple has been playing his character for almost a month now, and we've just heard some reports of some powergaming and lore breaking. We felt that it was necessary to bring it up here. The main qualms is that Apple's character is 210 pounds, easily heavier then any other of the characters in the city [which would be grounds for questioning his purity P;]. Aside from this, he received no education since he's arrived here by our characters and he's already fluent in elven and has the knowledge to make smoke grenades. We're asking Apple to change some of these things so that his character can become a bit more realistic and can integrate into our society more.

In addition to what Jazzy has presented I would like to bring to attention once more that lore is created for a purpose, if such lore in not followed, it lacks purpose. A great deal of "High Elves" play characters that a number of us see as lore incorrect. High Elves are not High Elves by birth. We fit into a mold, a category, if all High Elves are roses the 13 year old above bears the scent of a tulip.

Recently we, Thilln'iyat, Lelien and Nelo, had an RP session in the library. I am trying to write a story about Lelien's childhood and I was taking notes while we were playing it all out.

Suddenly you say in the OOC chat: 'Ok, G2G, bye!' and then you log out which just left Nelo and I hanging there.

I just want to point out that it's rude to do that, even if you need to go all of a sudden. Please, try and round up the roleplay. Make an exit that makes sense. It annoys me a lot.

I have a limited amount of time on the computer, so I am sorry. It gets really annoying for me while RPing and having to get off. I am sorry for your inconvenience, but there is nothing I can do about it.

This happens to all of us. Next time, try to RP a small sickness coming up, or looking up to the sun and realising you should've been somewhere else RPly. That gives you reason for walking/running away, where you can log off. This makes RP more realistic for people, instead of just seeing someone go "Ok g2g Bye!" and disappear into thin air.

He is not fluent in Elven, but is good. He has read the Elven Dictionary many times, so he has gotten an education in it. Albeit self taught. He might mix up a few words every now and then. The weight thing has been changed. And he did not "invent" smoke bombs, he just made a High Elven version. It is much more fancy and expensive. So until my lore is accepted or denied, void it.
