Introduction

The Mayliffs are one of two Noble families in Malinor, although they are a small family they expect big things to come from them and a couple of smaller things. The Mayliffs are a welcoming family to all other Elves, they will never act against the Elven lore nor will they hurt any other Elves. The Mayliffs started there road to Elven Nobility as the head of the Family Elhadron became Treasurer and First mate to the Elder Prince and the family Elder, Elyithor became Elder Prince Orlanden's hand. Both brothers would do all they can to protect the Princedom and the Elves within and the wish to grow a greater relation with the leaders of Malinor.

History

Once a regular family the Mayliffs were just farmers for their local settlement, little did Caranthir and Elewin know that that their two boys Elhadron and the younger Elyithor would grow up and carry on the family name but as Nobles. Elhadron was the first to fly from the nest; He travelled to Normandor where he began to work for the Vanguard which later became the well-known Sentinels. He then went on to become Treasurer and First mate of the Elder Prince Orlanden. Elyithor had receive letters from his older brother telling him about the recent happenings, this cause Elyithor to leave his home and make way for a new beginning in Normandor alongside his brother.

As years past and Elhadron and Elyithor became closer with the leaders and the Elven people a terrible letter struck both Brothers, it was of news that both of their parents Caranthir and Elewin had both died, El and Ely thought this was impossible as their parents thrived in their all settlement but little did they know that when the boys left taxes struck them and they became poor and as a result eventually died as there Mina’s for food and drink were quickly taken from them.

Grief stricken the boys knew that they had nothing back at their old home; they knew that the only way to go was to serve the Princedom and hope for a way to keep the family name strong and never let it get to a low that their parents were forced upon. More years past and Elyithor after showing much determination became the Elder Prince Orlanden's Hand as now both of the brothers were in line to serve the Princedom Elyithor being a more opened mouth elf asked the Prince for a chance to show that the Mayliffs were more than just Common folk, and to the shock of both El and Ely they were granted Nobility for all their help over Malinor and a big thanks from the Prince.

And to this day The Mayliffs have not let their honour be torn apart they are still going strong and they hope to grow in family size to keep the name in Nobility and so there are more Elves that are willing to help the Elven princedom

Elhadron knew that he had more to him than he once thought; he found himself that on a regular basis he would find himself speaking either to High Prince Bravepaw or Elder Prince Orlanden, this soon became a routine where he would talk to the Prince’s about matter of the Elven people as he did so this lead Elhadron to becoming Normandor’s Treasurer.

Elyithor follows in the footsteps of his older brother, though he serves alongside his brother to the Princedom whenever there is a chance at something new he will look up to his brother and see what he does, then he will learn how to act like him, He is very talkative and will talk to whoever engages with him.

Caranthir’s Armour

This was sent to the two Brothers after their father had died which from this day hangs in the Mayliff Manor on show for all visitors to see, both El and Ely look up to their Fathers Armour almost as a shrine to him as he was the one to teach them how to Climb, Hunt and Fight when needed.

The Mayliffs Gems

There are currently only two forged identical Gems that are in possession with the two brothers, Elyithor wears his implemented into his belt buckle and Elhadron keeps his Gem in a safer environment they both believe that there mother and father lives on in them, giving them comfort when they need it.
