In-Character Details

Character Name:Theoden IronAxeCharacter Race:Mountain DwarfCharacter biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary: Theoden is a 150 year old male mountain dwarf who is a strategist,hearty,strict,angry,stubborn,good-hearted,blatant,pitiful,spiteful, and aggressive when aroused. He has fiery red hair and a light skin complexion and seemingly angry blue eyes as if he would smite you but won't and a dark red tunic with a pair of pants with a varying array of colors.

When Theoden was a teenager he worked for his father as a lumberer and everyday went out in the forest and chopped down twenty small trees one dya while walking in the woods he found the openning of a large cave and was happy that he had brought his pick today so he walked down in the deep murky cave. He had walked for an hour seeing nothing until he saw a small 3 block gap so he decided he would try and right before he jumped he lost his footing and fell down a seemingly endless hole but was really only falling for a couple seconds when he hit the ground he laid there for a long while unable to move from shock and pure pain during that time he wondered what others were thinking and if he died if anyone would care on the 3rd day of his laying there a couple of cave dwarves walked up to him and asked if he was okay Theoden replied I'm fine but I need to get back to my village near the GrandAxe clan's fortress the cave dwarves inspected him and decided he wasn't fit to climb or move in any way and replied we will send a message to them telling you were found and are unable to move from your position and until you heal we will care for you. Theoden had no choice but to agree so they hoisted him up painfully and brought him to there small underground dwelling one of the local priests came over to inspect his wounds and decided he had broken both his leg and one arm but was happy to say it didn't affect hus brain or spine in anyway other then trauma and shock. Over the next 4 months he had to stay in the cave for his healing nothing reeally happened during this time but after the first month he was treated like family which ment he must be taught about respect discipline and everyday teachings of dwarf history and religion. During this training over a 2-month period he became as hard as the stone around him. But on the last month the cave dwarves decided he was partially healed and could walk and do daily routines like exercise but during these routines would be looked after. 1 week went by until they thought he was thought to be a ton more physically fit to start weapon training he was taught the parts of the sword dagger and axe but excelled in his axe weapon training. With only 1 more week till the priest said he could depart he practiced less and starting making friends and socializing. One of the friends he made was called Leneer (Len-ear) decided he wanted to see the surface with Theoden but Theoden warned him the sun may blind him but Leneer decided he would wear 10 straps of thin blindfolds and every hour on the surface take one off so the sun would hardly affect him. So when Theoden made it to the surface Leneer was fine after he'd taken his blindfolds off. But Theoden was a little wary on how his father would react for a 4 month stay with cave dwarves when he got to his village he could see smoke so he ran to it fearing the village had burned down and when he got their he saw a small bonfire. Sitting at the bonfire was his father, mother, and someone he didn't recognize when he asked his mother said it was his arranged wife which Theoden thought was a little cliche a dwarf goes in the wild for months and finds his new wife sitting at a bonfire. Well Theoden inspected his wife to be and thought she wasn't the ugliest thing so decided that she could be his husband if she could go in the wild with Theoden and kill a bear which would show Theoden much of her personality and toughness. They spent 4 days in the woods tracking the bear and when they came across one Theoden told he to kill it she looked determined but pale with fear. When she went up to the bear she stabbed it right in the neck with her axe and snapped it. Theoden was so impressed he decided she would be his wife immediatley. When they went back to the village with the giant fur they had a celebration and afterwards a wedding for the new dwarven couple. Theoden was content with his life and for the next 40 years (he is now 55) he trained, and provided for his family, and studied and almost had a child but was lost at birth. But now you may be wondering what happened to Leneer during thiis 40 year period Leneer was invited into the GrandAxe clan as a beardling and when he went out to tame a bear was torn from toe to head with the bears immense claws Leneer nearly died from the encounter but did die by walking 8 steps and bleeding to death. For the next ten years after this 40 year period Theoden decided he wanted to travel with his wife to see different cities she declined saying "I like it were we are and have no need to travel Theoden stubbornly went anyway knowing what some of the consequences may be. When he returned he found his wife sitting at the window waiting he was overwhelmed with pity of his action. 9 months after he returned she had a baby girl Theoden was overwhelmed with joy of his new daughter that he held a village wide feast for the infant. For 3 days the feasting went on until it finally came to an end. 18 years later Theoden started to train his daughter immensley since they as it seems couldn't have another baby the family legacy was on her shoulders she was taught how to wield a dagger incase of a bandit how to escape orc raids how to survive in the wild and how to be respectful to her elders. For 8 years she was trained until Theoden saw fit for her stop her training and travel as he had. Now with most of Theoden's life goals complete he decided he didn't have anything big to live for and from then until present day he has been working on earning and making his new goal of becoming a leader of a new village and a member of the GrandAxe clan fully. Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human, he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response?Theoden is happy to see some dwarves living were they please and comes up to the dwarf asking what he's selling and if Theoden needs something he'll buy more then he'll ever need but if he isn't happy with what the dwarf is selling or doesn't need it he would still be happy to help one of his brethren with a couple of mineas to start out his life in a new city. Theoden would then spend most of the day their trying to help the dwarf earn more money but sometimes 2 dwarfs arn't better than 1 dwarf and Theoden would pay the dwarf the dept of all the money that may have been givin to him. If the dwarf refused saying it was against his honor Theoden would buy 1 thing and give the money to the dwarf saying he hopes his conscience is clear now and hoping he'll be able to see that dwarf again in the future maybe in a different city or different part or Arethor.You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do?Theoden having knowledge of previous dwarf-orc wars would jummp right inbetween the dwarf and orc and threateningly grip the hilt of his axe at the orc and if the orc wanted to fight he'd fight for the dwarves if the orc ran away no harm no foul really. But when the orc was no longer in the picture Theoden would become worried of the and ask what the orc wanted to do or take and would proceed to tell the dwarf of his story on how he learned to wield the axe and how he was trapped in the hole. And nearing the end of his story would ask the dwarf if he needed help with anything like protection home or building something even mining. And if the dwarf needed any of those things Theoden would be happy to oblige.Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick , looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?:Theoden would bolt to the man and help him up because Theoden still remembers when he spent days in that abyss until someone had saved him and he didn't want any kind person to deal with what he had to for even a second. He then proceeded to ask if the man was a wizard/sorcerer and why he was walking on the road by his self while picking the mans minas up and walking him to a nearby tree so that he could whittle him a sturdy new walking stick and then when the mans walking stick was whittled he gave it to them so he could walk to a real walking stick vendor. When they got to the merchants shop the old man inspected the walking stick Theoden gave him and decided he would check what the most expensive walking stick the merchant had then pay that much money to Theoden to repay Theoden's kindness.
