Gifts!

Richard slips a pumpkin on his head and sneaks into New Vale. He carries a huge sack of gifts, all for the halflings down in the gorge. He slowly turns a door knob- but, as he didn't think of, the door is locked. He grunts, of course it's locked! He can't just leave the gifts outside, but he can't get in...

Within minutes, he's climbing down chimneys to get into peoples burrows, placing gifts around. First from the far right of New Vale, around to the left. Every one gets a gift, Pumpkin day isn't a day for non-gifts, but he does make sure some naughty Hobbits get coal. He drops the last of the presents down in a burrow high atop the mountain, but he is quiet enough to grunt and sigh without waking those sleeping. Tomorrow, the halflings will wake to gifts around, but for now, he lets them sleep...

Bili wakes up and shambles over to his living room, where several boxes have been left, wrapped in delightful paper. He hops over to his own and tears it open, surprised that he even got any presents. Much to his avail, an ornate and shiny shovel awaited him.
