Character Name:Datrus Rungor

Character Race: Dwarf

Character biography - Make this at least 2 paragraphs long, which must explain your character’s history, appearance, personality, age and any other details you deem necessary:- Biography: Few years ago there was born a dwarf named Datrus, with his father being a woodcutter and his mother a baker his family were highly thought of in their little hamlet located west of the mountains. 13 years ago Datrus and his father were out doing what they did every day, chopping down the local trees however on this work day there was to become a twist.

Suddenly a group of bandits stampeded through the tall trees chased by two men in battered iron armour, these men were from a dwarven clan however which one is unknown. The Dwarven clan members were surrounded, their fate was practically sealed. I looked on, I had no weapon however within the blink of an eye the two clan member stood strong dripping in blood they removed their helmets. I could not believe what had just occurred before me all I could do was stop and admire the men as one gave me a wink and asked for a place to stay the night as it was almost nightfall.

That night I went to sleep in excitement, these men I had never saw such courage and yet they acknowledged me with arms wide open. I awoke in the morning to realise that the clan members had gone, sprinting and hurdling over barrels and cattle I finally caught the men seconds before they left the wood. I asked for guidance, both sighed. Finally one of the dwarves looked down on me and pointed, “head towards the mountains and the adventurous await you". I never saw the clan members again but I watched on as they travelled on into the horizon.

From then on Datrus made many visits into the mountainous cities when he came across a merchant selling scrolls and ancient books on strategic warfare .Datrus saw this as a sign that this was his true destiny, with few minas in his pocket be paid for the tattered book however he could not read or write so made use of the few sketches drawn in the book and taught himself a few words from within the book. After he had read one book Datrus would head back up towards the city in hope to find another tattered book or scroll, over a period of 13years Datrus had read over 30 books and had studied constantly the arts that he had learnt.

- Character Appearance: Dark blue eyes and ginger Hair alongside a braided beard and a pony tail. Dressed in poor man rags surrounded by many rips and carries a pair of leather gloves to avoid injury towards his hands.

- Character Personality: Datrus is ambitious and tactically aware however is a bit to adventurous for his own good. Finds it easy to get along with people and always wants to help those in need but fails to see that he has nothing to give leaving himself needing.

- Your ambitions: To become a member of a dwarven clan whatever the costs

You’re wandering the Oren Road late at night, when a large Orc begins to threaten a nearby dwarf. There is no help nearby, and the situation looks like it will escalate into violence soon, what does your character do? With tactical knowledge that I contain, I know that the best situation would be for me to avoid confrontation however the dwarf is scared and helpless only a heartless soul would let this pass. Grabbing my axe I have no fear of my own safety knowing that only true leaders fight for what they believe in. Sneaking down alongside the road I see a small stone and throw it onto the cobblestone path. The dwarf is then distracted for a few seconds allowing me to get behind it. Being smaller than the orc I cannot reach its neck allowing for clean decapitation so pi aim lower down the body and aim for the leg. Whilst going for the attack I take a deep breath and the lower part of the leg has been taken, at this point the orc screams in agony and cannot move for the pain so i grab my axe it on the orcs neck, taking one final look at the orc he looks at me and stops the ear drum bursting screaming, the orc starts to stare into my soul and says "do it",furiously grabbing for my axe I take the final swing ending the orcs heart cold ways.

Whilst walking down the road to Malinor, you stumble upon an old man. His walking stick looks weak and frail, and just as you are about to ask something, the stick breaks, and the man falls to the ground. As he falls down, a bag of Minas falls to the ground, and splits open. As you watch the multiple coins spill out, you peer down at the defenceless man. What does your character do?: I watch as the man falls saddened by this I help the poor man up and the go collect all his minas and honestly give the man all his money back, the man gets up shaking and confused of what had just happened. The man finally comes to terms with what has just become him so I allow the man to lean on me and we walk back to his house where he will be safe. The old man stares at me and offers me some minas for my assistance however I decline this saying “thank you however you need a new walking stick and a good one does not come cheap”. The old man agrees with me however the old man says that I cannot leave without knowing my name so i reply “Datrus” and hurry on into the town and begin to look for work.

Upon entering the Mighty Human City of Arethor, you come across a shop-keeper calling out to sell his wares to passers-by. The shopkeeper is not a Human; he is a poor dwarf looking to make a living in a new city. What is your response? I see the poor dwarf, he looks saddened and alone, I take a minute to observe the surroundings and not a soul assists the dwarf. Rich men covered head to toe in iron armour pass by and whilst the dwarf is calling out, one of them grab the dwarf and pin him against the stone wall whilst the other begins to destroy the poor man merchandise. The man picks up a vase the one item the dwarf has that looks of worth and drops it towards the ground however the vase was only able to make it to the leg of the human, it had been stopped by myself. The shocked human stares down at me and grabbed the handle of his blade, he tries to threaten me until I grab my axe. The human stares down at me and sees the determination in my eyes, he knows that if he starts trouble there would become a dual to the death between us so he backs off taking his friend with him. The startled then thanks me and offers me a few minas for saving his stall however I decline knowing he needs the minas more than I do.
