Character Skillset:

Zhadaar possesses and maintains a number of beneficial qualities in regards to several subjects. Perhaps most prominent of these qualities is that of his combat prowess. Zhadaar began training with various weapons at an extremely early age. Whilst his brethren focused on the bow, he himself focused his efforts on the trademark weapon of the Kharajyr; the trident. By an older age, his skill with tridents, javelins and other such weaponry gathered a large amount of renown amongst the Kharajyr warriors.

His stealth is another aspect amongst his more practiced skills. He uses his coat to his advantage, the jet-black fur of the Kha-Pantera rendering him relatively invisible amongst the shadows and against the night sky. He practices and maintains this skill by creeping as close as he can to the fauna of the jungle, attempting to avoid detection. While he's successful to a certain extent, the heightened senses of jungle creatures generally render such an attempt void in the end. Regardless, this practice has allowed him to heighten his skill in remaining unseen to an extremely large extent.

A third skill of Zhadaar's is generally not what one would expect from one of the Kharajyr. While curiosity is natural, Zhadaar seeks more. He eagerly delves into the history of his race and the world, withdrawing from these documents mysteries to be solved facts to confirm. He actively seeks knowledge of any and all subjects and will often resort to less obvious methods to obtain such.

Appearance (age, SUBRACE, gender):

Zhadaar is a relatively young Kharajyr in the prime of his life. At the age of 27, Zhadaar exhibits a number of traits expected from a healthy member of the Kha'Pantera sub race. His eyes are a vivid, piercing green and he maintains a clean, jet-black coat. Though he generally prefers to move on all fours for the sake of speed, while standing he reaches a height of about 6'8. When relaxing in the home-jungles of the Kharajyr, Zhadaar wears fine, silk clothing and golden jewelry adorned with multiple jewels. When out and abroad, Zhadaar usually dons golden armor bound together via leather straps for maximum mobility. When doing guard work for the Do'Tetztarra, Zhadaar wears thick, heavy golden armor for maximum protection.

Personality:

Whilst he spends the vast majority of his time honing his body and his skills with his chosen weapons, he spends the rest attempting to fathom and explain the vast mysteries of the world. Due to this, when off duty he'll most likely be found in libraries and other such places of knowledge. He actively seeks new tomes to add to his collection. Zhadaar maintains a neutral stance towards nearly every race (with the obvious exception being that of the Uruk) and this stance will not change without proper stimuli. He specifically admires the Mali'aheral for their advances in science, logic and philosophy and seeks to maintain and surpass their level of general understanding.

Zhadaar was born amongst a pure family; both a Kha'Pantera father and a Kha'Pantera mother. He was brought up under a philosophy of careful inquiry and ever-present observation and contemplation. He was born in a relatively well-off family, one neither of the lowest echelon of the middle class but most definitely not of the the status of a noble family. Rather, his seemed to maintain a relatively middle ground. Zhadaar's was brought up on stories of the brave and valiant Moonblades, protectors of the Tlatlanni himself. From here, his ambitions were sparked. He set a goal for himself; he /would/ eventually reach such a status and, through hard work and overall dedication to Kharajyr philosophies, he set out to do such. Trained from an early age by his father in the above described skills, Zhadaar became a force to be reckoned with. He gained tract and recognition through combat within the arenas of the Kharajyr and acts of valor shown in the protection of his great nation.

Character's ambitions:

Zhadaar goal is to progress through the ranks of the Do'Tetztarra, eventually reaching the coveted position of Dra'Metza. On the side, he seeks knowledge of every and any sort, adding to his collection where he sees fit in an effort to rival the minds of even the finest philosophers of the Mali. He seeks to live long and experience much, a relatively generic goal when compared to his others.

1.

As you travel through the Karakatuan jungle, you spot a human trespassing on your nation's lands. He approaches you, obviously distressed, and asks for any food, water, or shelter that you can provide, then tells you that he has been lost in the area for days without any proper supplies. How do you react?:

Zhadaar leaps effortlessly and near-silently through the canopy of the jungle treetops as he observes the man below. Maintaining his personal philosophy of silent observation and careful contemplation, Zhadaar merely watches the man from above. His muzzle draws into a frown as he attempts to fathom how exactly a human could have wandered this deep into the Karakatuan jungles. Evaluating the figure's position relative to his home, Zhadaar comes to the conclusion that his hometown is in relatively no danger of being discovered. Satisfied, he retreats through the canopy and leaves the man to his own devices.

2.

As you romp through the lands of the "apes", you come across a tavern. Inside this tavern, a Dwarf notices you and starts gawking at you, then begins to speak.

"Oi! I gots a bowl of cream for you, Kitty! Ha! I'd bet you would make a nice throw rug, wouldn't ya, ya mangy furball?!"

He continues act generally as racist as possible. What do you do?:

Zhadaar, not one for such direct and public confrontation, merely stands and vacates the bar. He reaches a nearby tree and, after doing such, vaults across the rooftops of the town and onto the top of the tavern. Biding his time, he lays down and waits patiently as the night progresses.

The moon now high in the air, the tavern is completely empty with the exception of the dwarf and the barkeep. As the tavern reaches its closing time, the intoxicated dwarf is forcibly ejected onto the streets. Grumbling a bit, the dwarf wanders into a nearby alleyway, bottle in hand, and falls into a deep slumber. Leaping down from the roof of the tavern, Zhadaar follows. He flexes his paws as he nears the dwarf, allowing a long, silver claw to reflect the moonlight. He reaches the claw to the throat of the dwarf… and stops. Deeming the dwarf unworthy of his efforts and any such intention, Zhadaar sheathes his claws and retreats into the night.

3.

One of your fellow Kharajyr and a close friend of yours comes to your dwelling in the middle of the night and begins to pound on your door. After you let him in, he confesses to killing another Kharajyr over a slice of cake. What do you do in response?

Zhadaar's visage descends into that of a deep frown at the news. His decision is instantaneous. Uncomfortable with the situation, he offers the only advice he can; man-up and face the consequences, for the Kha will certainly not be taking refuge within his home tonight. As the offending Kha vacates the area, Zhadaar returns to bedding and resumes his rest.
