Robert stands on top the mast of his Dingy looking out before him he see's the Island the settlers from Asulon have taken refuge on, he looks out seeing the docks and he looks down to his dingy to see it is looking worse for wear, the hull is leaking in water and Robert slides down a rope and he picks up a bucket and begins trying to get the water out of his Dingy, he brings the bucket down filling it with the Ocean water and brings it back up again and throws the water overboard back into the Ocean. Robert keeps this up to no avail and begins climbing up the mast of his Dingy as the Dingy begins to sink. He sails past the large Nation vessels that have been brought to the island with the Crew of said vessels looking at him in disbelief in what he is doing, the Dingy continues to sink and Robert just stands on the highest point possible on the mast of his Dingy, the Dingy approaches the small boat docks still sinking and stops just at the dock, Robert steps off the mast and onto the dock and starts walking away before he walks past the harbour master who yells

"Oi stop right there you, its a Horen to tie up your boat at the dock."

Robert looks to the sunken Dingy and back to the harbour master

"and I shall need your name."

Robert replies to him

"Good sir how about I give you three Horens and we forget the name?"

The harbour master smiles and says

"Welcome to New Arethor Mr Smith."

Robert nods and tips his hat before walking off to where the harbour master keeps his ledger and taking his purse, Robert walks off into New Arethor looking for what ever he can do to make him once again rich

A smelly, dirty, one eyed man in a red bandana sits in the stocks while street urchins fling feces and rotten fruit at him. He loudly swears at them and threatens their families. Then the Captain comes along, and Scag opens his mouth in disbelief.

"Cap'n 'Owe? CAP'N!"

Scag shouts in joy and appeal before another cabbage hits him in the head.

Robert seeing Scag in the stocks takes a moment to look at him raising an eyebrow smelling him he raises his finger and says

"One second Mr Miller"

Robert takes a bucket of water from near his location and throws it at him covering him in water to cover the smell

"There we are."

Robert then bribes the guard at the stock and has Scag released

"So Mr Miller ready to rejoin my crew?"

Robert smiles to him and says

"Well first of all we need a ship, then we crew then we raid pillage plunder until we spill our weaselly black guts out. I believe taking on a Privateers commission is the first step we must take."

In the bar closest to the stockades, a weatherbeaten man drinks himself senseless. He looks as if he was once a respectable seaman, maybe even a midshipsman. His shadowy facial growth, long swept-back hair, and scruffy clothing suggest those days are far gone.

Samuel Hennelton takes another heavy swig of fiery brandy from his cloudy bottle, and attempts to clumsily grab the barmaid's arm. The barmaid, seeing a drunk, washed-up seadog grope for her, instantly slaps him in the face. As Samuel massages his now sore jaw he hears familiar voices. Perhaps Captain Howe, THE Captain Howe, was gathering a ship's crew?

However, instead of doing what he wanted, which was to go out and meet the salty swashbucklers, he found it much easier to down the rest of his drink in the hope that they would come looking for him. Samuel promptly passed out and lay slumped in his chair, snoring loudly.
