How did you hear about the the Lord of the Craft?: I was looking for a role-play server on the Minecraft forums.

Definitions:

 

Role-playing: A hobby in which one is to create and assume the role of a character and interact with their surroundings. 

Meta-gaming: To use information gathered while Out Of Character to your advantage while In Character.

Ex: Tommy tells Timmy that his character's weakness is soap, Timmy has not been told this while In Character, but he gets soap and uses it against Tommy In Character.

Power-emoting: To put the outcome of your action onto another player without giving him a chance to respond.

Ex: Tommy: *goes to steal diamond from Timmy* Timmy: *he doe- Tommy: *steals diamond*

 

In-Character Information:

 

Full Name: Iheiuhii Tal'ame (meant to be used like "Voice of the Forest")

Current Age: Twenty-Four

Sub-race (if any): Wood Elf

Gender: Male

Past / History: Iheiuhii doesn't have a rough history, his parents didn't get murdered by orcs, or dwarves. He wasn't orphaned and abandoned to die in the forest. No, he had a rather nice life in the forests. He was introduced to archery at a young age, five years old. At the same age, he was taught how to forage, farm, hunt, and how to survive in the harsh lands. They even gave him light training with a sword, should he need to defend himself at a close range. Everyday, after firing some arrows at trees, most often missing, as he was new to the sport, he'd run home and yell "Maln! Maln! Come and see!" 

 

  His father could only chuckle "What is it now Iheiuhii?" He'd walk out a find an arrow stuck in the designated tree to be used for archery practice. "Good job! Keep going!" Before long, Iheiuhii was teaching himself to make his own bows, and arrows. At the age of ten, for the first time, he was taking out to see the cities of Malindor, and he was fascinated by the buildings and towers that stood before him, and of the other Elves which he thought looked strange. He wasn't used to seeing Elves with black skin, nor was he used to seeing armored people, such as the Sentinels. Many years later, at the age of eighteen, his parents died, only of natural causes. This led him to lead his own life, with all the knowledge he needs from his parents, in the forest, and within the cities.

 

Ambitions for the Future: He wishes only to live within the Forests of Malindor, possibly open a Hunting/Archery Supplies Store.

Personality: He is bold, rather friendly, but tends to keep himself private.

Skills: He is very skilled at Archery, he is able to move rather stealthily, especially when in the branches of trees.

Appearance:

Deep Tan/Light Brown skin, brown eyes, blonde hair, green leather clothes, and a quiver on his back, He stands at 5' 7".

1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of High Elves are mocking a small Wood Elf child. How do you react?

 

Answer: Moving as quietly as his feet would allow, Iheiuhii would slowly gather a position behind the group of Mali'Aheral, a leaf would crunch, but the group of Elves would take no note, allowing themselves to take it for a squirrel or fox. He'd move very stealthily, and when he got within twenty feet of them, he'd grab hold of a branch, and haul himself up. Then moving among the branches, he'd finally take his spot behind them. He'd pull an arrow from his quiver and load it into his bow, drawing it back, he'd say very calmly, "You really have nothing to do except bother a defenseless child.. Shame, I would have though you'd have more purpose in life..." Being startled by the sudden voice speaking in their direction, they'd turn to face his drawn bow, and slowly they'd start to back away. One would turn and draw his sword, only to being met with an arrow in the foot released from Iheiuhii's bow. As they ran off, he'd jump from the tree and walk over to the child. "They didn't hurt you, did they?" The child shakes his head.

 

"Thank you." The child says as he turns to go home, and he would be escorted by Iheiuhii to ensure his safe return.

 

2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across a frail old man with a walking stick. He collapses in front of you, falling to the ground with a sharp thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?

 

Answer: Looking back and forth between the man and the gold, thinking of the things he could buy, he'd have a hard time making the decision, but makes it fast. Giving a sigh, he bends over and starts putting the gold back into the pouch, and then picking up the old man, and his walking stick, he'd hand him his gold and send him on his way. He'd walk alongside the man, and would pick him up should he fall over again, walking with him to the edge of the forest, also to make sure he doesn't get robbed.

 

3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).

 

Answer: After being called over to the cart, Iheiuhii would almost immediately start looking at the arrows. "Ah, the archer type are we? You can have those arrows for only fifty minas, a fair price considering you're looking at twenty arrows."

 

  "Unfortunately, that won't happen, but I will take them from you for fifteen minas." Iheiuhii would respond.

 

  "Eh... forty." Challenges the merchant.

 

  "Twenty-five, final offer" Iheiuhii would say at one last shot. After quite some grumbling, the merchant would agree.

 

  "Deal." He'd give the money over to the merchant, and then he'd grab his arrows, and be on his way.
