cmack1028 549 Share Posted February 11, 2013 Hey guys. I've noticed recently that there is a minor flaw with our MPM sizing system. You see, our current, most-used model is the smallest female Dwarf model. This averages us at about 2 feet 8 inches height, as you can see down below. But aren't most adult Halflings around 3 feet tall? What about Halfling children? Well, I've tried to answer this. I've experimented and found that if all adult Halflings switch over to the second smallest female Dwarf model, it will be a bit more lore-friendly. It would also allow all Halfling children to have a smaller model than their parent players, which might make the RP a bit more realistic. Of course this is a very minor change suggestion, but I thought it might help. As you can see here, the current model is just a tad bit under the block. He's more around two feet eight inches or so. As you can see here, the new adult model I am suggesting is a bit taller then the block, more around three feet tall. Thanks for reading, and if you wouldn't mind commenting, feel free to do so. EDIT: I've added the three pixels needed for the MPM mod to work under each screenshot, but they are very hard to see. You can click on them and download them to zoom in if you need to see it clearly. The only change is the third (blue) pixel becoming green.
TheRoyalOnion(Aris) 101 Share Posted February 11, 2013 It's a little hard to see because of the angle but I'd agree the second one would be better for an adult.
Kaiser 2347 Share Posted February 12, 2013 I don't even use MPM, and I have no idea if my skin is holding any MPM. But anyhow, the second one looks better, I'd rather just look like a small person rather than a midget
Orlanden_ 12 Share Posted February 12, 2013 Oh, come on. Really? No love for me - the one who gave you the idea? That's the model, as I told you, I've used for almost a year now, although I lived in Malinor most of the time. :) Also, I've spent nearly all my time (the last month or more) on my Halfling, and because of that, I feel it's drawing in newcomers! There have been three new Halflings just today! :D -Marco Merryfoot

Now that I remember, that is correct, you did suggest the second size female dwarf. I don't even use MPM, and I have no idea if my skin is holding any MPM. But anyhow, the second one looks better, I'd rather just look like a small person rather than a midget You do have MPM enabled on your skin with the smallest size. (Meaning you do look like a midget like most other Halflings, :P.)
