Heirthany was born to a loving family on a cold winter. Not 3 years after he was born, his parents came down with a terrible cold and both suffered until death. Heirthany began to fend for himself. Following his natural instincts, he got warmth and food. For years, he survived, returning to the bones of his parents every day to mourn them. He got stronger, more skilled, learned from all his mistakes all the time. One day, instead of sticking to his normal route on the hard forest floor, he accidentaly wandered into a small town.

 

A kind man by the name of Richard Bygleffs took Heirthany in to his house and taught him the basics of human culture. Heirthany slowly but surely began losing his savage ways and started understanding the humans. After 2 years of blending in, Heirthany was 16. He decided to travel to Asulon.

 

Heirthany was in need of money to survive, so he began sparring at a local fight house. He began getting amazing feedback on his technique.

 

After 2 years of sparring with his friends, he started sparring more advanced opponents. But he still excelled. He was making money. He was talented. He was gaining fame.

 

Heirthany went on sparring and also took up hunting, which is what he has done up until this day.

 

Ambitions for the Future: Heirthany wants to keep sparring until he can become a knight. He also wants to continue hunting until he can get larger game.

 

Personality: Skills: Heirthany is a easily agitated person. He has great skills in the art of the sword. He is a quick and agile and can dodge with little effort.

Even though he is often quiet, withn a friend he can be very friendly and sociable.

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?

Answer:

Heirthany watches the figure slowly walk up to the palace doors.

Heirthany shrugs and gives the figure one last glance as it draws a knife.

Heirthany gasps.

"Guards! Watch it!" Heirthany shouts.

 

A guard sleepily turns to Heirthany raising an eyebrow.

 

"I said watch ou--" Heirthany urgently yells as he runs quickly to the figure.

 

The figure stabs the sleepy guard and heirthany quickly tackles him.

 

The gurad's partner rips Heirthany off of the figure.

 

"Watch out you fool!" Commanded the guard.

 

Heirthany rapidly reaches for his dagger sheathed at his waist.

 

The figure dodges a punch from the guard and dead-legs him.

 

As the figure raises his knife to stab the guard, Heirthany throws his knife straight into the figure's skull.

 

The figure crumples to the ground.

 

As Heirthany draws his knife from between the figure's eyes, he recieves great thanks from the guard.

 

Heirthany help up the guard.

 

"Your welcome." said Heirthany

 

Heirthany slowly walks away.

 

2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?

Answer:

Heirthany slips behind a tree to watch.

 

As the two bandits continue harrassing the man, Herthany begins advancing, tree by tree, to get a better view of the situation.

 

"Listen you hag, give us the money and we wont hurt you!" Said the bandit.

 

The other bandit grins and draws a dagger.

 

The old man spits in disgust.

 

*After 2 minutes, the bandits lose their patience and take a battle stance.

 

"Hello." murmured Heirthany, as he quickly slits one of the bandits throats.

 

"Run." Heirthany commanded the man.

 

The bandit quickly striked Heirthany.

 

"Gaah! Fool! Do you know who you're messing with!" Heirthany yelled angrily.

 

Heirthany dropped his dagger.

 

"Heeyah!" Heirthany yelled as he charged the bandit.

 

Heirthany grapples the bandit into a headlock, snaps his neck, and drops the body.

 

"Phew..." Heirthany mumbled.

 

Heirthany looted the two bodies of a few gold pieces and a couple arrows, and walkeed off down the dirt path.

 

3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).

Answer:

 

Heirthany see's a fine bow, hanging on the wall.

 

"That. The bow." Said Heirthany.

 

"Hmmm? Oh that! Well, crafted in the--" The salesman rambles on and on.

 

Heirthany is clearly not listening.

 

"Spare the preaching. How much?" Heirthany asks.

 

"Well... It's a nice bow..." The salesman says.

 

"I can see that." Heirthany says impaciently.

 

 

"Ugh. You are a rude fellow, aren't you. 350 minas, and we've got a deal." The shopkeeper says.

 

"325. Here and now." Heirthany says.

 

The shopkeeper silently grabs the bow off the wall as Heirthany extends his handfull of 325 minas.

 

Heirthany trades the minas for the bow, and walks off.

 

"Oh." Heirthany mumbles.

 

"Thanks." Heirthany says sarcastically.

A fairly good attempt, though I found a few issues:

Another issue in your biograohy, a three year old cannot fend for himself.

 

Also, you seem to have travelled to Asulon, which is not allowed. You are only allowed to be born in Aegis or Asulon.

 

I found some slight powergaming in your second Open Response Question. You seem to ignore the hit that the bandit gave you.
