RP Name (This includes your character’s prefix): Sween

 

Character Sub-race: Kha'Pantera

Character appearance (Including age and gender): Sween is a small female Kharajyr with

bright purple eyes, and soft short fur. She wears clothing that is not very
long in order to prevent over-heating, but a good portion of her body is
covered. Sween is six years old.

 

What is the personality of your character like?: Sween is a very shy Kha' that can

be very serious and tempered depending on a situation. She is untrusting to
many individuals, mostly non-Kharajyr, who seem very different than her people,
as well as being told many times by Skira that they are very unsafe and are not
to be trusted. Sween is also a very emotional individual.

 

Brief Biography of this character’s life thus far (taking into account the rules
against creating a character born outside of the empire): Sween grew up in the
hands of her original parents before the journey to Anthos. She was taught many
basic things including crawling, some words of speech, and to distinguish
different things of the jungle. Sween had a large interest for putting colors
on soft sheets of wool. She would often take sticks and cover them with dye,
just to then smear the colors on some wool. Due to her young age, Sween would
only put splashes of paint, never really creating an image. The color alone was
beautiful to her.

 

Eventually the Kharajyr island was burned down by Orcs, causing them to flee to Anthos, as

well as the other races. All the races traveled due to their own personal
reasons. As the boat traveled, a powerful storm brewed. The Kha' had to throw
all their things overboard to avoid sinking. Sween's parents ended up being
washed off the boat during the storm. Despite this happening at a young age,
she grew up not remembering the event too strongly. Despite this; being alone
had caused her to become shy afterwards.

On the new island of the Kharajyr, Karakatua, Sween often found herself sleeping anywhere safe that she would not be seen at. Despite this, she was eventually found by another Pantera, Skira. Skira had a fierce, confident look in his eyes, one that made Sween feel less scared. Maybe this was partly because of
another kitten on his back. One she had not met yet, Shavir. Skira took Sween in as his own, raising her alongside Shavir. With Skira, she learned basic steps, and she could walk very short distances. He also allowed Sween to continue painting, as that was one of the few words she had learned to speak and communicated to him.

 

Character’s ambitions within the Kharajyr: Sween wants to grow up to be a very culture
inspired Kha'. She wants to learn all about the jungle around her and apply her
painting skills in order to paint those she sees around her. She would paint
the Kha', wildlife, vegetation, and simply architecture should she deem fit.
Due to growing up with Skira, she would become devoted strongly to Metztli as
well.

 

Character’s strengths/weaknesses: The strengths of Sween would be her imagination,

creativity, attune attitude to nature, and soon to be devotion to Metztli. The
main weaknesses of Sween would be her physical prowess. She is not very tough,
so she can not wear any armor. Sween has also never touched a weapon before;
and therefore has absolutely no combat experience.

Situational Roleplay Questions

 

*THESE RP SCENARIOS WILL BE AS AN OLDER SWEEN*

 

1. You are heading home from a successful hunting trip when a group of three
heavily armored humans jump out from behind a tree and start demanding the
surrender of your catch over to them. Each man has a sword drawn and they are
gradually pacing towards you...

 

How does your character react?

 

Sween begins to shake nervously upon seeing the three armed humans. She begins to
pace backwards away from the humans out of instinct, not wanting to be injured.
She turns and begins to run from the humans. Despite not being the fastest or
strongest Kha', she manages to out-run the humans because of their heavy
burden, and manages it make back home safely to the warm arms of Shavir and
Skira. She tells them all about what happened to her, simply to vent some of
her emotions.

2. You arrive at the temple of Metztli only to see one of your closest friends stealing the sacred blue gems from the altar, a most unholy act for a Kharajyr.

How does your character react?

 

Sween is not sure how to react upon seeing her friend steal the lapis gems from the
alter. Initially she thinks about going to tell him to put the stones down, but
then becomes too nervous to do so. She begins to inch her way back home to
Skira to get him to come help her; afraid that she may be injured from the
Kha'. Along her way she looks around for any Kharajyr who look friendly but
strong; one who could stop her friend themselves. She then thinks she should
try to find someone who could boost her confidence.

 

3. You are in the Cloud Temple when a stout, angry little dwarf begins yelling
highly racist terms towards you at the top of his lungs. Although unarmed, the
dwarf continues to yell after he makes eye contact with you.

 

How does your character react?

 

Sween frowns, emotionally broken at the insults directed at her. A few small tears
begin to roll down her cheeks. This causes the dwarf to break into laughter as
he notices he has an effect on Sween. The racist terms escalate and soon the
Monks intervene. Sween slowly backs up to try and get away from the temple;
away from the mean dwarf. The monks close in on the dwarf and throw him out,
not pleased with his behavior. Sween makes her way towards Kha' lands. A few
kittens try to cheer her up; as they were mischeviously exploring at the
temple.

 

4. Fire has broken out over the jungle city and you can hear the screaming of two
Kha’ nearby. As you go investigate, you notice that one of your friends and the
Tlatlanni’s white-furred child have gotten themselves trapped in opposite ends
of a burning building. The roof creaks above you, if you were to get involved,
you would only have time to save one before the building collapsed.

 

How does your character react?

 

Sween is distraught with the stress of choosing between
saving her friend and the Tigrasi. Despite the immense stress thrown at her,
Sween knows that she must save the Tla's kitten because of the teachings she
gained from Skira. As tears roll down her eyes, Sween runs into the impending
wreckage, making her way to the Tigrasi. She weakly gets hold of him; and makes
it out of the building moments before it falls apart. She smiles to herself
that she has made an important decision, the right decision. She hopes to
herself, and Metztli that Skira and Shavir will be proud of her.
