Character Sub-race: Kha’Cheetrah

 

 

Character appearance (Including age and gender):
S’Relio is a male Kha’Cheetrah who is 19 years old with bright orange fur and
black spots. He has a white belly and a small blue cloth wrapped around his
waist with a blue parka like (I didn’t make the skin so don’t know the name of
the piece of clothing) piece of clothing around his shoulders. He has dark
green eyes and long and sharp claws as well as a short tail.

What is the personality of your character like?: S’Relio
is a very friendly Kha’Cheetrah, he loves to socialize and make friends and he
tries very hard at not making enemies. He does not result in violence in any
circumstance, unless he is told by authority to. If he is instructed to he can
be pretty sloppy at combat (Which is why he steers from any violence). He tends
to “Stay inside the box” if you will and tends to not do anything out of his daily
routine. He loves to be alone at night as he feels that it is a time of his own
to do whatever he pleases (Within his home) like reading a book or creating a
new food.

 

Brief Biography of this character’s life thus far (taking
into account the rules against creating a character born outside of the
empire): Was born into an average lifestyle, he grew up with his father
trying to make him a great hunter. His father took him on many long hunting
trips and came back with many hides and meats. Although S’Relio was born with a
gift to hunt, he did not enjoy doing it very often and only when his family
needed it. Hence to halt in hunting S’Relio became very poor at his combat
skills but he kept his claws as they came in handy for everyday use. He began
spending a lot of time with his mother, showing him special remedies and how to
be good at making food and all the secrets of farming.  His family had a small farm next to their
home and it became used very often. S’Relio made up his own recipes and lots of
the Kharajyr liked the food that he made. S’Relio’s father still wanted him to
hunt and made him a small iron knife and still took S’Relio on hunting trips
for him to know of some combat skills for his own protection.

 

Character’s ambitions within the Kharajyr: S’Relio’s
ambitions are to live a peaceful life, filled with enjoyment and he also plans
to one day be a great cook and own a bakery.

 

Character’s strengths/weaknesses: S’Relio is very
flexible and quick on his feet, he is also a great climber. He is very poor in
combat as he wields only but a small jagged iron knife and does not have much
experience in fighting with weapons and his hands; he knows basic tactics in
order for him to hunt. His only experience with a weapon is from the trials and
the rare occasions where he would practice on a tree that was covered with
leather to not damage the jungle.

Situational Roleplay Questions

 

1. You are heading home from a successful hunting trip when
a group of three heavily armoured humans jump out from behind a tree and start
demanding the surrender of your catch over to them. Each man has a sword drawn
and they are gradually pacing towards you...

 

How does your character react?

S’Relio does not dare challenge the humans and he paces
backwards in order to keep an equal distance from them. He turns his head
around and sees that he will eventually walk into a large tree. He rips a
handful of meat out of his bag and eats it in attempt to mock them. They are
angered by the mocking and start to run towards S’Relio. S’Relio then turns
around and notices another very large tree with large vines running down the tree
about 13 feet to the left. He makes a dash for the tree and slides under a
fallen log to slow the humans down. He quickly climbs up the tree and runs on
the treetops to a tree about 30 feet away from the tree that he climbed up. He
reaches the tree and sits down on the bushy leaves gasping for air, he then
proceeds to take a large fish out of his bag and eat it while looking up in the
sky while the men are surely to be gone.

 

 

2. You arrive at the temple of Metztli only to see one of
your closest friends stealing the sacred blue gems from the altar, a most
unholy act for a Kharajyr.

 

 

How does your character react? S’Relio knows that
talking is forbidden in the temple so he runs up to a nearby priest and points
his friend out, as Metztli means much more to him than friends.

 

 

3. You are in the Cloud Temple when a stout, angry little
dwarf begins yelling highly racist terms towards you at the top of his lungs.
Although unarmed, the dwarf continues to yell after he makes eye contact with
you.

 

How does your character react?

S’Relio ignores the dwarf as he does not want to confront
him because confrontation may result into a fist fight; something that S’Relio
is better at but still is poor and he assumes that a dwarf would have much more
experience with fist fights, by going to bars and such.

 

4. Fire has broken out over the jungle city and you can
hear the screaming of two Kha’ nearby. As you go investigate, you notice that
one of your friends and the Tlatlanni’s white-furred child have gotten
themselves trapped in opposite ends of a burning building. The roof creaks
above you, if you were to get involved, you would only have time to save one
before the building collapsed.

 

How does your character react?

S’Relio runs to the center of them and runs for the
Tlatlanni’s child as the child’s death would bring an uproar in the city. He
removes supports from on top of the child and pulls him out and carries him to
the entrance. He tries to go back inside the building to save his friend but a
tear drops from his friends cheek as he smiles and he uses his left arm – his
only free hand to wave goodbye to S’Relio as he knows that Metztli awaits him
and then motions for S’Relio to leave the building. As soon as S’Relio runs out
of the building, the whole roof has collapsed and then he takes the child to his
home to make sure that he is alright.
