In-Character Information:
Complete the following biography on your character:

Full Name: Vectis Vekon.

Current Age: Eighteen years old.

Sub-race (if any): None.

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Born in Ager, Vectis was raised the son of a shepherd. ( He is not Rolf from Ed, Edd, and Eddy ) When Vectis's father wasn't tending the herd, he was teaching his son swordplay and how to read and write, being a veteran man-at-arms of the Oren Lances. Vectis enjoyed these lessons and when he was idle would often be found with either sword or book in hand. When he grew old enough to look after the herd himself, he would often forsake the staff and bring his father's sword to the field and sharpen it, sometimes hoping a wolf might stray towards his flock so he could strike it down. His mother was a quiet, godly woman who often lectured in lessons of the true faith and quoted parables passed from her peers to relate to their life.

When he came of age, he bid farewell to his parents, following the advice of his mother to 'find his own way'. His father proudly bestowed upon his son the heirloom of his sword and with it, he set out onto the road to find his own way.

Ambitions for the Future: Vectis is young and naive and often dreams about enlisting in the Oren Lances or becoming a great scholar.

Personality: Vectis is friendly if not racist; wise if not ignorant, and strong if not afraid.

Skills: He is literate, well skilled with a sword for his age, and damn fine at herding sheep.

Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): Vectis has medium-length blonde hair and cerulean-blue eyes. He stands tall at five feet and eleven inches tall. He is neither muscular nor weak, nor skinny or fat. Vectis speaks in an eloquent tenor voice, rather surprising for the son of a shepherd.

Open-Response-Questions
Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.
____

1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?

Answer: Spotting the malicious figure, I shout with certainty as to the potential assailant's agenda, "Guards! Assassin!" Drawing my father's sword, I join them in apprehending the individual, regardless of their true intentions. The guards, impressed by my handiwork, reward me with a few Minas.

2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?

Answer: Stepping forth with courage in my heart and an overwhelming sense to do good, I draw my father's sword and shout to the bandits to step away or be cleaved in twain! One of them step forward to handle me but I outmaneuver him in my lighter armor, splitting him in half horizontally with a powerful sweep of my sword. As the second bandit now turns on me, I shout, "now!" as the old man rushes forward, stabbing the bandit in the back, ending him. The old man invites me in to share in his drink, but I have more important things to do, and set off.

3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).

Answer: Laying my eyes upon a set of iron armor, I point towards it and say, "that one". He responds with a smile and asks a price. "Four-hundred and ninety Minas."
"Five-hundred and fourty Minas."
"Hm-... Five-hundred and twenty Minas-.. and I'll add three cuts of wool."
"Deal!"
And so I take the armor and exchange the wool with the merchant.

Pretty good for a first application. However...

1.  Please expand upon all your definitions and add examples of meta-gaming and power-emoting.

2.  I'd like to see some more detail in your biography. I find that adding more lore can help add detail to it. You have a good base, it just needs a bit more detail.

3.  Please expand upon your Open Response Questions. Make them read like short stories or roleplay scenarios with detailed actions and dialogue between the characters.

Pretty good for a first attempt. Especially using lore; I don't see that too often in a first attempt. However, please wait at least a full twenty four hours as of this post's edit (seen below) to post your next attempt. This is to give you time to think and to improve upon your application. If you have any questions or if you would like some help with your application, feel free to send me a message. I'd be happy to help!
Good luck with your next application!
