The Aging System

No offense to anyone who has given me information over the past two months, but I need to know for sure.

What is the real aging system now?

I have been told 3 different things and by several people.

I have been told 8 days IRL = 1 year in game.

I have been told by several people 1 week IRL = 1 year in game.

I have also been told by others that 12 days IRL = 1 year in game.

What is the true calendar for Lord of the Craft. It makes aging very difficult when people are telling you several different things.

Twelve IRL days is the correct aging. See, it's sixty minutes per Minecraft day, so a full IRL day is 24 Minecraft days. That's about a month. Multiply that by twelve, and you have a full year.

I feel it's rather short, but that's the system!

Yet LotC has its own calendar too, so it may well not be 12 months.

Without the date plugin, most people aren't keeping track of time. Use whichever year length you think works best.

It's difficult to keep track of the date without the date plugin and the frequent duration changes of the MC day and night doesn't help things either.

As the players above me stated, it's 12 days in one year, but don't expect that to stay that way forever.

Aging your character is your choice. You can decide to age him rapidly, or not at all. Most players use the 12 day system, but I know some who have been the same age for two IRL years and some who have aged 50 years in a matter of IRL hours. It's up to you as the player. Your character is your creation and you can control him as you see fit.

This players questions have been answered and the situation resolved.

Should you wish to have this reopened, please PM me your reasons why it should be so.
