What previous experience have you had in role-playing?: I am larper (live action role playing.) , so I am
physically roleplaying. I think that gives a better feel to a character because
I have been in my larp character's shoes physically not over the internet.

 

How did you hear about the the Lord of the Craft?:I
heard about Lord of the Craft from Youtube. After I watched a couple of videos
on Youtube (which is not a lot by the way) about Lord of the Craft I asked my
friend James about it and he said that this is the number one server in the
world.

Metagaming
is when someone gains knowledge from somewhere outside of the gaming realm and
uses that information ingame like if there is going to be a siege and you see
it is posted on a site and then use that information ingame.

 

Power-emoting: Power-emoting is
when someone uses actions that make it so another person can not do anything to
counter act it. As an example – John pulls diamond sword out, he stabs Jack
then turns invisible appearing behind Jack and cutting his head off.

My
story is not a happy one. Before I was born my family was in poverity. Like
most families that are poor, they lived off the land. My parents were lucky
when they saw even the slightest thing that was edible. This may have been in
conjunction with them bathing every time they could. But alas they knew this
wasn’t the life that a dwarven child should be born into so because of this
they set off for the city named Oren.

 

I
was born soon later. When I came out of mother’s womb I did not cry, instead I
took the closes object to me, which was a small hammer, and brought it close to
me. From then on my parents knew I would be a protector they thought I was
Dwain Irongut reborn into this world again but for they did not know was I was
slowly turning into his dead evil brother Heron. As I grew up I noticed I was
shorter then most of my dwarven kin this angered me constantly. This was ok
though, for what I lacked in height I made up with muscle and brains. From when
I was eight I started to help my father with wood cutting and smithing. I loved
cutting wood partially because I didn't have to stress my brain, thinking about
how hard or what angle I should cut the tree. I saw that since I loved wood
cutting so much I would keep an axe on me; one: because I loved wood cutting,
two: BECAUSE AXES ARE FREAKIN' AMAZING!!!! I explained this to most people but
they never understood, they thought I was afraid of something.

 

I
soon left my parents to go off into the world. I decided I wanted to know more
about how life started and how to control it. I started to read about how
Dwain's brother Heron and how he had wanted to bring his father back to life
and show his father that he was better then Dwain. I saw this interesting, a
simple matter of love made Heron go insane. But putting that aside I also
wanted to powerful like Heron and be able to control the dead. I started to
head for the towns near oceans and hunting down elves so that I may learn their
civilized ways and mystical ways. After spending time in the elven capital
Normandor I started to speak without a crusty and unrefined dwarven accent and
started to get a bit taller. I then went searching to find the secrets of Heron
and where his magic came from, for did he really gain magic from his father
Urguan or if he gained the magic from another sorce... maybe from another
entite. After being bored with finding nothing and from things I gained
knowledge from led to dead ends I gave up. From there I went back to Oren
disguised as a human to live out my life, from here… I do not know what to do…

 

Ambitions
for the Future: To become a great axeman and to have magic (yes, I know I will
have to make a magic application)

 

Personality:
He is quick witted and is not very social, because of that he is very rude when
he doesn't really mean to be. He also speaks what is on his mind (just like me)
and doesn't care how other people may or may not judge him.

Skills: Because all
he used was an axe and on occasions used a hammer he is very good at using an
axe.

Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one
paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as
possible and do not break character or lore at any point.

1. Whilst mining deep in the undergrounds of Kalos you see
a large deposit of diamond ore at the other side of the ravine you are on.
There is a very thin rock bridge that looks precariously unstable, but it is
the only way to access the deposit. What do you do?

 

Knowing that I need a couple of diamonds to sell on the
market to get a little bit of money I start to think about how to get the
diamonds. "Hmmm let me use what I have gained from the reads of
Heron." I start to stare at the thin rock bridge. "This rock bridge
seems it will give out any moment, and I am to short to run across that bridge.
I doubt even the fastest human could cross that bridge much less make it
back." I start to head outside of the mine putting my hand on my axe ready
to draw it out in a moments notice to kill anyone or anything that might want
to take those diamonds. "Maybe I should chop some wood down to clear my
mind." I pull out my axe all the way and start to swing at a tall oak
tree. "Ahh I miss these days, just chopping at trees..." I pick up
the logs and stare at them for a moment (I tend to stare a lot huh?). "BY
HERON I HAVE IT!!!!" Making sure nothing heard me except the loud winds of
the forest and the creatures that we eat, I start to turn the wood into planks.
"Thanks be to the Gods for without them helping me through my childhood
with woodwork I would have not been able to get three planks for each
log." I start to head back into the mine and search for where the diamonds
are. "Ahh there you are, you little bugger." I start to make support
beams for the bridge using the wood I gained. "I think I shall make it to
the diamonds in a decent amount of time." As I place the last support beam
I notice that the cave doesn't seem very light up and that there is a lot of
ore around..."Hmm why is this place so... unlifelike and chilly
feeling..." I place a torch down on the bridge and near me so nothing will
sneak up on me. "This should be good enough." I start to mine the
diamonds and soon leave knowing that by the power of Heron and the Gods I was
able to cross that bridge and gain a bountiful amount of diamonds.

 

2. You are sitting in the local tavern with a large pint of
ale in your hand - sitting nearby you is a rather young dwarf whom is clearly
going through a bad time. He is crying to himself, and clutching a small wooden
hammer toy. In the other corner of the room two shady dwarves are sitting
whispering to each other and pointing occasionally at the dwarf. They stand up,
one with a small dagger in his hand and begin to approach the young dwarf. What
do you do?

 

"Hmmm why do you cry dwarf?" The young dwarf
replies,"My famly 'as died an I could ave done somedin but.... I DIDN'T!
The young dwarf starts to cry even harder."Why do you say you could have
done something to stop it? Surely you are not a cruel person." I start to
notice two shady dwarves approaching us. "Hay, maybe we should go to some
place safer?" The young dwarf replies, "ere be nutin left for me if I
leave dis place. Tose two dwarves approaching us ar loan sharks and I aven't paid
my debt. Dey plan on kellin me if dey dun get deir money." Knowing I have
a large amount of money on me I start to wonder if I should pay the loan sharks
off. "Surely they won't kill you here." The young dwarf looks at me
and tells me in a even sadder tone. "They killed my famly while dey w're
in de park. Ar' you sure dey won kell me ere?" I stare at the dwarf and
then hand him a knife. "I will not fight your battles nor give you a free
ride. Kill these men for the things they did to your family.” I then leave the
bar.

 

3. Whilst wandering through the Dwarven Caverns you hear a
voice call out to you; “Oi, ye’! C’mere n’ get ye’rself an ale!”. You spin on
your heel and see a heavily bearded bar-owner looking at you - a huge grin on
his face, and a mug of ale in his hand. How do you react?

 

I turn to the heavily beared bar-owner and exclaim, "I
THINK I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS IDIOTIC DWARVIN TONGUE!!! DO YOU NOT THINK
OTHER RACES THINK YOU ARE IDIOTIC FOR SPEAKING LIKE OI AND C'MERE!!! HOW WOULD
YOU LIKE IF I STARTED TAKING LIKE A DUCK OR IN HERON'S SAKE A COW!!! OH WAIT
YOU ARE SO STUPID THAT IF I DID YOU WOULD PROBABLY MAKE ME A GOD!!! FOR HERON'S
SAKE I DOUBT YOU CAN EVEN MAKE A STRAIGHT LINE ON A GRID LINED PAPER OH WAIT
YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT A STRAIGHT LINE IS HUH!?!?! The heavily beared
bar-owner looks at me and with anger and at the same time understanding he
hands me an ale. "I am sorry but I have had a tough day... dealing with
how to cross a ravine on a fragile bridge and then killing a dwarf and adding
in the homicide of another." The heavily beared bar-owner looks at me and
then says to me in a struggling tone, "I am sorry dat I t-t-talk like dis
bu dis was ow' I was teached." I stare at the dwarf for about a minute
then reply,"Seems if this is to change it will have to change with the new
generation... maybe a school will help... that will teach my ways... they right
ways..." I then leave the bar.

Overall a very good application. It is clear your put a high amount of effort into your application. You seem to have put good amount of research into your application also, as I could see Server Lore and in character information. You also showed that you could control your role play scenarios well and have a average level of role play with your character. Your definitions correct and an interesting read.
