Ok, recently my character purchased a love potion which rply bought to get up to mischief with, as suggested by an improving Rp post. Two things one will I need an VA for lieng/cheating to plant a potion and two in rp I've been told how it works but will it actually work is it a fake?

For a VA, You don't need a VA to lie. For, well, basically drugging someone? not sure, doesn't say in the VAs if it's not harmful.

 

And it should work, unless the potion wasn't made in RP, the person who sold it to you didn't make it right or lied to you about it, or there's something that may defend against such potion (such as magic, or extreme love, etc. etc.)

Drugging someone would require a 2B and possibly a 2C depending on why you're drugging them.

I disagree. I do not think it will require a VA as a love potion only makes someone fall in love with you for a certain period of time.Teen's Mischief. Which store did you buy it from?

just looked over the VAs a second time and this may be classified as "Slaving" as they are not under their own will. Not 100% sure though....

You may want to PM the person who sold you the potion and ask if it is a real potion RPly

I would say the love potion is temporary, would not let the person go to extremes (ftb), and so I think would be considered under 4a (chaos). 2b is for killing with a potion or poison, and 2c is for torture and slaving, so maybe 2c as well, but not 2b.

 

On the other hand, a love potion would be something extremelly hard to get, it would probably be some kind of aphrodisiac more than making the other fall in love. Ask that question in the VA Q/A, they soon should answer it, thought what you want to do affects the VA needed for it.

You need a VA for deception, not lying. And in your case you do need deception. You may also need Corruption(I think). I'm going to ask a VAT member if it also falls under 2b.

Number two: You need to be careful with this "love potion" because if the effects cooerce your victims into sex then it comes off as rape and can get you permanently banned.

I did not know that thanks... I shall also check in the VA section but most likely will just sell the potion on!

I just had a chat with a VAT member and found that the potion does not fall under 2b. But to corrupt someone's mind with the potion you need the corruption evil, and to trick him or her to drinking the potion, is Deception.

 

Does the OP have any further questions or does he consider his issue resolved?
