A Long Delayed Wedding

Couriers and bannermen bearing the green and yellow cross colours of House Stafyr line the streets of Oren, handing out invitations and pinning up notices. They read as follows:

The Wedding of Great Ser Edmond Brunswick of the Order of the White Rose and the Lady Leana of House Stafyr is to be held on the elven day of ((Friday 15th)) at ((9pm GMT/5pm EST)) at the Great Chapel of Salvus! The ceremony shall be performed by the Holy Pastors Goddard and Osterwald.

 

Those cordially invited are as follows:

• The individual known as 'Romvert' is not to attend, by personal request of House Stafyr.

All members of the Imperial Privy Council.

Any other members of the Nobility or Knightly Orders are permitted to attend with the blessings of House Stafyr, provided that they identify themselves on entry.

 

All invited guests are permitted to bring one additional guest at their personal discretion.

Jason patrols along the streets of the capital, bearing the Rose tabard. He stop abruptly as a bannerman hands him a flyer. As he scans through it, he grins widely, stating, "Ah, Edmond's finally gettin' married! I'll have to congratulate 'im!" He spins about on his heel, strolling to the Rose Fort.

Arjen looks to the note presented before him by one of the Rose unoathed with extreme confusion. He stares at one specific part. He double-takes at the soldier, then the note. "Baron Arjen de Sarkozy." He frowns with frustration, releasing a sigh full of it. He hands the parchment back to the unoathed, making his way down the hall to find Edmond.

After news reaches the bride of the multiple errors on the wedding posters the Stafyr scribes are suitibly chastised and their faulty work replaced.

After hearing of yet more protestations, Leana makes sure that the scribes are shovelling manure in Salvus for the rest of their miserable lives. New scribes are hired and fix the mistakes of their unfortunate predeccesors.

 

She also takes pains to ensure that the posters say that ALL members of the invited houses/orders are invited and not just the named ones.
