Character appearance (Including age and gender):

Ki’Xotchli stands at 6’1 slightly shorter for her kind, she is twenty. Her eyes are a faint baby blue, her fur jet black. Ki’Xotchli is very lean, but doesn’t maintain her muscle.

 

Ki’Xotchli is very shy, not very welcoming of others unless she has been proven otherwise to think so. She grew up with Sa’Meeir back in Elysium, always staying near to him. Ki’Xotchli is very wSa’Meeir, growing ever so fond of him since she was a cub.

 

Brief Biography of this character’s life thus far (taking into account the rules against creating a character born outside of the empire):

 Ki’Xotchli was born in Elysium, she was never the fighting type, always having Sa’Meeir fight her battles for her. Sa’Meeir and her would always stay together, Sa’Meeir ensuring her, her safety. Xotchli was born to a small family, her munna was a farmer and her patta wasn’t ever spoke of. She thought that her father had wandered off and never came back, but the real story is that he was died, a devastating disease taking his life. Xotchli didn’t know this though because she was only a cub at the time, to this day she still thinks that he wandered off, but she knows now that he might never come back. Xotchli is just hoping now that they are in Anthos things will once be calm, like it was in Asulon. Her munna typically tended to the farms, providing for the rest of the Kha’ and herself. When her munna was out tending to the farms, Xotchli would sometimes watch or even help, following in her munna’s footsteps.

 

Character’s ambitions within the Kharajyr:

Ki’Xotchli hopes to one day marry a fellow Kha’. She hopes this Kha’ that she will marry one day will be Sa’Meeir. Xotchli also hopes to be a provider for her fellow Kha’ in any way she can.

 

Character’s strengths/weaknesses:Xotchli is very timid, unsure of other people unless proven otherwise. Xotchli can’t fight to save her life, but she can defend herself, still not very good at that either. Xotchli can farm very well, her mother guiding her through her years.

Situational Roleplay Questions

1. You are heading home from a successful hunting trip when a group of three heavily armoured humans jump out from behind a tree and start demanding the surrender of your catch over to them. Each man has a sword drawn and they are gradually pacing towards you...

 

How does your character react?

Ki’Xotchli growls at the men, slowly backing up, watching them as they approach her. 

“Leava Xotchli!”

The men laugh at her and continue to approch her, holding the swords high in the air.

“Lay down kitty, we just want your catch”

Ki’Xotchli looks around, trying to spot away out of her situation. She notices a way to run from the men that they might have no way to stop her.

The men get closer, eyeing the catch.

Ki’Xotchli quickly throws the “catch” at them and runs away from them, unwilling to risk her life.

 

 

 

2. You arrive at the temple of Metztli only to see one of your closest friends stealing the sacred blue gems from the altar, a most unholy act for a Kharajyr.

 

How does your character react?

Ki’Xotchli frowns, seeing one of her friends stealing from Metzli’s alter.

Ki’Xotchli quickly storms off to the Tla’ explaining that one of her friends stole from Metzli’s alter, Ki’Xotchli tears up a bit walking back to her home, knowing that Metzli is going to heavily judge her friend.

 

3. You are in the Cloud Temple when a stout, angry little dwarf begins yelling highly racist terms towards you at the top of his lungs. Although unarmed, the dwarf continues to yell after he makes eye contact with you.

 

How does your character react? 

Ki’Xotchli frowns, walking away from the temple. She murmurs to herself,

“Xotchli issa fine..”

She then continues back to the island, wondering why for whatever reason she was at the Cloud temple. ;)

 

4. Fire has broken out over the jungle city and you can hear the screaming of two Kha’ nearby. As you go investigate, you notice that one of your friends and the Tlatlanni’s white-furred child have gotten themselves trapped in opposite ends of a burning building. The roof creaks above you, if you were to get involved, you would only have time to save one before the building collapsed.

 

How does your character react?

Ki'Xotchli would act quickly, rushing to the kitten first. The reason for saving the kitten would be she values /his/her/ life more because the kitten is young and ignorant, unable to have fully experience /his/her/ life.

After saving the little kitten and moving him away from the fire, setting him down in a nearby clearing, she would rush back to the den, only to realize that the den has killed her friend. Xotchli then would go back to the kitten cradling the kitten in her arms, ensuring that he stays calm and isn’t hurt.
