Full Name: Gradgore the "Iron Mine"

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):I have one brother and a father but they both died in a mining accident as the cave was coming down my brother pushed me out and ran back into save our father. But as I was getting ready to run back in the entrance collapsed and I couldn't get back in. Then I tried for hours to find them by mining my way back in but there was to much ruble. I gave up and clamed the cave as a final resting place for my Father and Brother my mother died from bandits she was out of the town when bandits made a raid on a small village and as she was trying to escape she got hit with a couple of arrows. In the back and did not move I make my living now by serving my people and mining what ore I can find.
Ambitions for the Future: wants to help build a grand hall for his people to where they will remember him as the great builder of all time
Personality: grumpy doesn't like much people and loves his ale
Skills: great with an axe and mining

1. Whilst mining deep in the undergrounds of Kalos you see a large deposit of diamond ore at the other side of the ravine you are on. There is a very thin rock bridge that looks precariously unstable, but it is the only way to access the deposit. What do you do?

Answer: Gradgore would grab two pick axe and some rope but make sure its the same length of the bridge Gradgore would walk on. Then Gradgore would find something to tie the rope around and then he would tie the other end around his waste and start walking across the bridge way. When the bridge starts to fall he would run and jump to the other side and stab his pick axes into the wall and work his way up to the top.

2. You are sitting in the local tavern with a large pint of ale in your hand - sitting nearby you is a rather young dwarf whom is clearly going through a bad time. He is crying to himself, and clutching a small wooden hammer toy. In the other corner of the room two shady dwarves are sitting whispering to each other and pointing occasionally at the dwarf. They stand up, one with a small dagger in his hand and begin to approach the young dwarf. What do you do?

Answer: Gradgore would walk up with his axe and stand in front of the young dwarf and look at the two dwarfs. If they come closer he would tell the young dwarf to run and then he would draw his axe and attack. Gradgore would render them unarmed then he would wait for the guards to come and let them know what happened. Then he would go and find the kid and help him out and ask him questions.

3. Whilst wandering through the Dwarven Caverns you hear a voice call out to you; “Oi, ye’! C’mere n’ get ye’rself an ale!”. You spin on your heel and see a heavily bearded bar-owner looking at you - a huge grin on his face, and a mug of ale in his hand. How do you react?

Answer: Gradgore would take caution as he walks over to the bar owner and pay for the mug of Ale. But as he does so he  would have his dagger at his side incase anything happens and then he would look down at the ale before he takes a drink of it and see what been put into the mug to see if the owner  had tampered with the Ale or not. Then he would go on his Mary way and continue his adventure.

Your bio could be made longer, with more happening than just your family dying. It is very cliche, and ought to be worked on so it is more than just your parents and brother dying. Tell my something about your dwarf, and possibly amend the loss of your parents.

 

Your ORQ's still lack detail. Expand on them, detail the fight in the second one, add dialogue to each. Also, your first one seems a bit unrealistic. Perhaps if it were more detailed, it would be more believable.

 

I'd also like to see more lore used in your application as a whole, as all there seems to be is that dwarves love mining.

 

Lastly, I'd suggest working on your grammar a little, and maybe proofread your next application. I won't deny you for it, but it makes it much easier to follow and understand.
