Homeward Bound...

Fujiwara walked, his horse was slain within hours of entering the North, that was months ago, and he had been on foot since then.

He walked through snow, rain, sun, hail, abd yet, none of these compared to the bitter, soul freezing desert of ice, and flurries that is the North...

His tabard was faded, and torn, his chain was bent, and in some places broke, but these could all be fixed. His sword was chipped, it would have to be recast, unless he wanted to be a liability in combat.

But none of these were forever, no, but one was.

Bringing his hand to his face, his right eye, blinded by a blast from a Dragon, he barely had time to moce, suffering the injury at his own expense, he got his revenge, his hand moving down to a string of teeth, bound by string on his neck, he got what he had come for...

Fujiwara kept walking, realized he had stopped, and continued onward, it was a good two weeks of travel on foot, and exhausting, setting camp and breaking many times, it seemed routine, and the prospect of an actual bed was foreign and he forgot the feeling of such.

On the 19th day since he had left the North, nearly four months ago, he saw the gates of Horengrad, the capital of Oren, smiling slightly, he pushed on with renewed vigor, marching to the knights keep, nearby squires and a few knights who knew him pointed and whispered, following the figure in the tattered remains of a squire of the Cahpter of the Lion, thinking they might know him, but unsure, and curious.

Approaching the Knights Keep, Fujiawa ascended, seeing Noble Ser Jonathan giving orders in the courtyard, training new Footmen and Squires, men doing construction, and the sound of steel being pounded, he kneeled before Ser Jonathan, laying his sheathes sword down, head bowed and plams flat on the ground, hair falling onto either side of his ehad, grazing the cobblestone.

"Noble Ser Jonathan... I have returned...."

Before he had knelt, he gave a wink to Adorellan, of course...

Adorellan smiled brightly, before chuckling as he returns the wink.
