Definitions
In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:

Role-playing:
Taking the part of a certain character, and playing them through action and dialogue

Meta-gaming: Using OOC information in character to gain an advantage

Power-emoting: To take over the roleplay to achieve actions that are considered super human.

In-Character Information:
Complete the following biography on your character:

Full Name: Brother Kingsley

Current Age: 20

Sub-race (if any): Dark Elf
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):

Kingsley was born to two mundane parents. Peasants, commoners, Kingsley was never surrounded with anyone special. He was named for his mother’s foolhardy dream that through religion, he would rise to be a king. (Kingsley doesn’t know if it was a literal king, or a metaphorical king.) His parents were strongly religious. They set Kingsley in a cradle marked with holy symbols for his infant life. Kingsley grew to a strong, 5 year old boy.

Kingsley was put into an abbey to become a monk. His parents wanted him to grow as a religious boy. They wanted him to have the right mindset, and to study under the Abbot, a man so devoted he gave up his name. Kingsley was raised under the teachings that he was to speak only when necessary, to meditate, and to remove all passion for other things. No distractions were permitted. They whipped the passion out of him. All he was taught was reading, writing, gardening, and mopping.

Kingsley left the abbey upon reaching the elven adulthood. He loved the old building, yet he wanted to do something, or to help someone. He has traveled here, in the hopes of learning healing, and perhaps spreading knowledge

Ambitions for the Future: To do something with his life, and to bring divine faith to scoffers

Personality: Kingsley is calm, collected, and thoughtful. All of his famed, dark, Elf passion was stolen at the Abbey, as the Abbot wished him to focus on his studies. Kingsley has always had a problem with vanity

Skills: Kingsley is very wise, some regard him as a sage of sorts. He can resolve conflicts, and is self-sufficient.

Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin):Kingsley wears a grey, blue trimmed,  hooded robe, hiding his ugly, bald head. His eyes are bright red. Skin attatched

Any other details you wish to share about your character: Kingsley falls asleep during meditation, every night, to ensure a peaceful and relaxed sleep.

Open-Response-Questions
Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.
____

1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of High Elves are mocking a small Wood Elf child. How do you react?

Answer: I hold back disgust at these high elves disregard for empathy. The child bursts into tears. I walk over to try to ask them to stop. “Hold there, dirt-skin!” they call. Such bigots. The child sees relief, and tries to run to me. One of the elves grabs him by the collar, and yanks him back. The elf is distracted by the stitchings of the abbey he spots on my robe, and the child breaks free, seeing the opportunity. He runs over and hugs my legs, asking for protection. The elves snicker, call me a softie, and walk away.

2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across a frail old man with a walking stick. He collapses in front of you, falling to the ground with a sharp thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?

Answer: For a moment, I think to myself “I could take this, get new robes, look like a monk that is truly devoted...” I snap back to my teachings. I gather up the coins, and pour them into the bag. The old man cries, “No!! Please!!” I help him up, and give him the bag. He realizes that i’m a monk. He breathes a sigh of relief. “Thank you sonny! If you ever see me again, I shan’t have forgotten this kindness!” I hand him his cane, and he walks away, tossing a small coin back as thanks.

3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).

Answer: The brush clears away, revealing a carriage of many colors. “Hoy, there! Ya wan’ta buy somethin’ neat?” He asks. Intrigued, I approach. He disappears into the carriage, and returns with a holy symbol. He says “20 minas.” Shocked, as I only have 10, and it is crude, and not even gold. All it really is, is a bent lump of tin, not even properly blessed, as the symbols etched on it are scribbly and thin. “10” I say. “10! Yer gonna break me buisness! No less than 20!” I begin to walk away. “No, no, no, wait!” He says. After a pause, “10” he begrudgingly says. The transaction is made, and I walk away with a crappy lump, that probably wasn’t even worth it.

Please wait a full 24-hours before reapplying or you will face denial

Reasons:

1. Your power-emoting definition is incorrect. You may use google or the forums for help, but do not directly copy and paste anything!

2. There are many lore inconsistencies in your biography. If your character lived with the other elves in malinor. then he would not practice a religion as elves do not believe in anything such as that. Another thing is that the only monks in LoTC are the monks of the cloud temple, but you must join them in-game after being accepted; you cannot be one from the start because of your biography. Thirdly, elves are not considered adults until the age of about 100, not 20. At 20 they are physically matured, but they are still considered a 'youngling' by other elves until they are around 100.

3. Please, add more server lore into your biography. The server lore can be found on the wiki, here:  http://www.lordofthecraft.net/wiki/wikka.php?wakka=HomePage

4. This isn't that big of a deal, but you say your character is 'wise' and a 'sage' of sorts. Seeing as he's only 20, which is very young for an elf, this seems unlikely.
