Out-Of-Character Information
Please fill out the following questions as accurately as possible, and ensure the essential details are accurate.

Main Account Name: hex37
Alternate Account Name: Helihat
How old are you?: 20
Time-Zone: EST/PST
Have you read, understood and agreed to the rules?: mhmm
What previous experience have you had in role-playing?: The first was Ragnarok; Songs of Discord. I never really left Ragnarok, and I think I never will. Most of everything I have learned about RP and the manipulation thereof I have learned in Ragnarok. It has been, unfortunately, been under construction for the better part of 4 months now, so I'm looking elsewhere.

The second was Assassin's Creep, a Renaissance Italy Assassin's Creed remake. I left that server promptly after I discovered that it was quite literally owned and operated by 13 year olds, and featured some very uncomfortable rp-situations. That combination weirded me out more than a little, and I left as a result.

The third server I joined for RP was Dragonsreach. It had a good premise, but the players on the server focused more on factions than RP, and often put it before actual story.

And of course, I've been with LOTC for about four months now, I believe.

Definitions
In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:

Role-playing:

Roleplaying is a method of telling a story with many people at once. Good roleplay is when you can successfully build a believable story with the people you're around. The best kind of roleplay only happens in a very fleeting moment, where for a split second, the entire scene happening in game seems nearly real.

Meta-gaming:

Metagaming is when you take knowledge you couldn't possibly know in character and acting upon it, breaking the fourth wall and usually generating HORRIBLE RP.

Power-emoting:

Powergaming, and, by extention, power-emoting, happens when you try to force your version of a scenario on another player. Usually, this devolves into a very shitty "NUH UH, YUH HUNH" scenario not uncommon on kindergarten playgrounds all across the world. Power-emoting is an extension of this, where you implement damaging acts with an emote, without giving the other player a chance to have their character react.

In-Character Information:
Complete the following biography on your character:

Full Name: Kelly Scroat
Current Age: 10
Race: elf
Sub-race (if any): High Elf
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): Kelly Scroat is the adoptive daughter of a tall, gaunt man known as "Mr. Scroat." Mr. Scroat was an undertaker who lurked the badlands of Kathos, that buried the numerous bodies that collected there, as is proper for any proper undertaker. One evening, though, Mister Scroat heard the crying of a small, new born girl, buried beneath the body of her mother, whose parents, and in the least cliche way possible, were riddled with and indeed killed by orcish arrows. That's what they get for entering the badlands, after all.

Mister Scroat, not being a particularly nice, but nevertheless being a decent man, with a heart of semi-precious metal, took care of the little girl. He raised her, showed her how to take care of bodies, how to dig a hole six feet deep, how to measure a body for a coffin, and how to make the coffin itself. As Mister Scroat taught her adoptive daughter more, he found himself doing less... and less... until eventually he stopped helping at all, having his daughter do all the work. This was not because Mister Scroat was a lazy man. Truth be told, he was always surprisingly punctual. Unfortunately for the pair, Mister Scroat was actually just dead. He caught a sickness from working on some more infested bodies, and caught their affliction.

Kelly... Never figured this out. Mister Scroat died 5 years ago, and lives in a coffin, and never says much, but Kelly still thinks he's alive, because she's never really met another living person, or learned the difference between life and death. What ever bits of common sense present that might inform her otherwise, she has thoroughly suppressed through a mixture of cheery ambivalence, and outright denial of the loss of the only person in her life.

Ambitions for the Future: Make a business off of being an "unnertaker!"
Personality: Kelly is surprisingly chipper for a little girl raised in and around death. She's always chipper, and forward planning... Even if that planning involves measuring people for coffins before they die.
Skills: Digging, measuring, smiling.
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin):

Kelly wears undertaker's clothes, and yes, a rather adorable stove-pipe hat.
