The Trials Approach

Rüthar wields himself a bow staff, standing on top of the tallest tree calmly as he closes his eyes gently, breathing in the air.. As if to await the attack of his opponent. His opponent being, a sack of sugar being sat up on a stick with a note attached to it.

He flicks his beautiful purple eye open, as well as his milky white blind one. He spins the bow staff while standing at a distance on top of a branch, and launches his weapon straight at the sack of sugar.

The sack of sugar gets hit, and flies off the tree. It lands itself straight on the sack, and flies down from the 30-50 meter drop, landing directly on the ground, smashing open with the note still attached.

Upon hearing a loud crash, you approach, walking through the fog of the sugar dust. You pick up the note, it reading in neat handwriting:

"The Trials of Rüthar approach.

Rüthar's 15th birthday has come and nearly passed. He finds himself to be ready for what is to come of his trials, and is aware he decides when they do come.

To be scheduled this month, as Rüthar's patience grows ever weaker.

This time would be more advisable than others, though Rüthar can find it possible (if needed) to bring forth another date.

Thank you.

- Rüthar"

((I would like for them to be done today, as I have a busy week, and don't have time for the most part to do them on any other day (I /believe/).

EDIT:

I'll rephrase that.

I have very little time. From 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday this week, I'll only have access to the forums. From 5:30/6:00 PM - 10:30/11:00 PM Monday - Friday, I'll have access to the server. However, on Saturday I'll have all the time I need.

I will be getting on the server soon enough, that being around 6:00-7:00-8:00 PM PST (Pacific Standard Time) of this evening. If that doesn't work, then I will find some other day for this to be done. Though I'd rather not have too.))

Quorak grasps the note with haste, skimming through it before he flips it over and writes on the back.

Your request has been noted by myself, the Aelkos of War. I shall give to you my trial through note, for you wish them to be over as quickly as possible.

You are to evade contact with Karakatua for one whole of the Elf days, and remain abroad for this time. During this, you will learn to survive, or adapt to how you wish.

There are no conditions to this trial, other than the obvious rules of Karakatua;

- Do not cause trouble for the Empire.

- Do not abandon Metztli.

- Do not lose faith in the meaning of the trial.

Good luck, you may begin when you wish.

- Dri'Quorak Dunjal, Aelkos of War

Rameethar, still a kitten, stumbling away from his parent's supervision for a few minutes, walks over to the tree where he heard a noise. He looks around for what he heard, and suddenly a hail of white dust ((not what you're thinking)) falls all over his back from above. Curious, he flicks out his tongue like a snake, and upon the dust hitting his tongue, he gets a sweet taste. It's unlike anything else he's ever tasted. . . Rameethar's kitten-bound curiosity causes him to flick his tongue out and in all directions making a slurping noise. The sugar dust falling from above is a sweet rain, and it's like a heaven for Rameethar.  "SLURP, SLURP, SLURP!" He begins bouncing around catching as much of the sweet sugar dust in his mouth as possible. . .soon enough, after the sugar dust stops falling, he runs off to reunite with his mother and father. Though, now with his sugar high state, they'll have a situation to deal with. . . .

((Never give kittens sugar. Ever.))
