Out-Of-Character Information
Please fill out the following questions as accurately as possible, and ensure the essential details are accurate.

Main Account Name: Camilo_Muds

Alternate Account Name: rcawolves

How old are you?: 17

Time-Zone: Eastern/America

Have you read, understood and agreed to the rules?: Yes and yes.

What previous experience have you had in role-playing?:
I previously played on another role-play server called CraftHammer for about 2 months and through that I developed very good RP skills as a merchant and eventually started a small chain of shops around the land. I obtained and recruited several workers and started a small town with other members of my triumvirate. The purpose of this town was to build a resistance to regain a fort captured by chaos. Sadly we couldn’t regain the fort because the server went down. I have also been playing on LoTC for almost 7-9 months since my last application was accepted.

Definitions
In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:

Role-playing:
Well, the first word that comes to mind is “fun”. To me Role Playing is essentially acting out the parts our characters play, as well as acting the way our characters would act. I see it as being in a play that has no definite end and that is full of Improvising.

Meta-gaming:
Basically knowing what your character does not, say someone told you OOC that they are going to kill someone, telling the person that is going to be killed that they will be killed soon would be meta-gaming.

Power-emoting:
Giving a player no chance to fight or speak. An example would be going up to someone and saying *kills you* then telling the person in OOC to do /kill on them self.

In-Character Information:
Complete the following biography on your character:

Full Name: Lucien Renald Vynes

Current Age: 19

Race: Human

Sub-race (if any): Northerner

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):

Lucien Renald Vynes was born to a peasant family of potters and labourers in Elysium. Growing up learning simple mathematics and raised with proper english, he had a decent education. Often helping his parents with their tiresome work. Occasionally his parents would scold him if he were to speak in slangs, to his family speaking proper was one of the few ways they could be distinguished amongst the rest of the peasants. As a result he would be picked on by other children quite often due to his proper speech. As he became older he developed ways of handling the verbal abuse and leaned to keep his composure in disagreements. At age 15 his parents separated leaving him in a difficult position because they felt he was old enough to pick who he wanted to live with. The choice tore at him for an hour before he decided to stay with his mother, she would be needing the help and support whereas his father could handle being on his own.
Lucien often prided himself for keeping calm in tough situations and in settling difficult matters. Living with his single mother taught him so, as much of his fathers responsibilities were now his. He spent hours working, making vase after vase, pot after pot, and bowl after bowl. A year would pass by and with it came higher taxes, pushing him to work harder and quicker, but to no avail. Lucien and his mother were evicted and homeless, having no minas to buy a cheap shack, they lived on the street. Months passed by like a blur, constructing makeshift shelters in long abandoned alley ways. His mother fell into poor help so Lucien did what he could to help her by taking odd jobs around town. After more months of physical labour, on an afternoon job delivering three sacks of potatoes to the bakery he saw his father once more.
Standing still in surprise, he muttered the words “F-father?” while scolding himself for stuttering. His father overhearing the sound turned to see his son carrying large amounts weight in his arms. His father quickly rushed over to assist his son, they finished the job and upon completion they began talking. Lucien, tired and confused said “Father, where have you been? Why have you not sent mother and I any help? I know you’re not living with us but even so, did you not care in the slightest!? Why are you back?!” His calm voice rising towards the end of his questions. His father turned to him with sad eyes and said “I had to spend 3 months on the street looking for a job, and then... I was offered a short apprenticeship, 6 months of study and work on jewelry. It is a very profitable business and I managed to save enough to help you both now.” His father not pulling several small sacks of minas from his pockets. Luciens eyes widened at the copious amounts of minas. He quickly lead his father to the small makeshift hut they were living in.
Lucien ran ahead into the alley to tell of the news. “Mother, father has returned with minas and help”. His mother looked up at him confused “Your father?... he returned?” She begins to cough harshly then turns to see Luciens father. “You.... what do you want?”.  His father, after seeing his mother's ill state and the shelter they reside in, quickly says “I can provide you two with a home and medicine, come live me. I know I’ve been gone for a long time but I will never be at rest knowing you two are in such harsh conditions.” After that the family spent hours talking, sharing stories and events, and at the end they began packing. Another year would pass while resding in the comfort of his fathers home. His mother recovered quickly, the doctor said the illness was most likely brought about by depression and sleep deprivation. Lucien felt content with his new surroundings but felt a longing to go on his own. He never had much time to think for himself over the years and he wanted to do more with his life than work restlessly for a few minas a day. So one morning he packed some clothing, bread, and a hand full of minas. On his way to his living room he thought of the time gone by and then said his good bye’s to his parents. Both of them understood the struggle that was placed on Lucien for such a long time and fighting back tears wished him a safe journey into the land of Anthos.
