In-Character Information:

Full Name: Kiire-Tuul
Current Age: 112

Sub-race: Dark Elf

Past / History:
-My mother lived in the Elder Tree city, and she raised me there as well. I'm not sure who my father was, and I liked to assume he was a valiant warrior who had to leave me and my mother to save the world. As most mothers do, she was caring if not a bit overbearing, and taught me what she knew. Once I was old enough, being the woman she was, she left me to care for myself and went back to traveling. I would've liked to follower her, I just didn't quite know when to.

Finally deciding it was time to venture out, I took up my sword, harp and precious belongings (which were few), and used the information from people to gain leads on my mother. The leads were small, and I even met my father. Dead and buried in an unmarked grave, his location only known by the lover he had gone to after he had run away from my mother. Of course, he really wasn't a hero. He died in a bar fight (and it was interesting to learn he was human). Leaving that long-awaited and certainly unwanted moment of truth behind, I moved on.

It turns out my mother had succumbed to a sickness. She couldn't come back home and wasn't in her right mind to send a letter. I still got to be with her on her deathbed of course. It wasn't very odd how well I took both my parents deaths considering one was never there and the other fulfilled her job as caretaker, leaving not a second early or late once I was ready to be alone. Nonetheless I learned many a thing as I traveled, even made some friends, some long gone now of course. But thanks to them I look at the world in a different way. Some elves call me strange, and others like to give weird looks, but I'm strangely content with that.

Ambitions for the Future:
-Travel; maybe find a place I’d like to settle down. I may pursue a permanent carrier as a bard, only time may tell.

Personality:
-I'm an observant woman, and am rather resourceful. I know
how to use what I have, and therefore, can be rather productive. Sometimes, I use
people in this manner, but it doesn't mean I don’t care about how they feel. I'm
loyal to those I deems worthy, and will always repay a favour.

I'm tolerant in that, even though I may not like you or what you're doing, I can still act some
degree of civilized towards you. I'm good at biding my time until an opportune
moment to strike arises.

On the other hand, however, I enjoy mischief, trouble and the occasional banter, sometimes coming off as just plain promiscuous. I like to think of it as a chance to ‘practice my persuasion’ rather than anything serious. I'm not as formal as most people think elves to be, and I'm more similar to humans than we say we are. In my free time I enjoys relaxing, indulging myself in the arts (such as reading, writing, singing and playing). I know how to act depending on the situation.
Skills:
-Tailor and a bard.

Appearance:

Any other details you wish to share about your character:
-Nope.

Open-Response-Questions:

1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the
sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of
High Elves are mocking a small Wood Elf child. How do you react?

Answer:
-My mother always taught me as a child we are always supposed
to protect our young, and to me that includes non-blood. They say knowledge is
power, and violence is hardly any way to get many things done. So with a simple
selection of degrading if not a bit improper word choice I’ll have those snobs
running away with their tails tucked between their legs. If that doesn’t work I
wouldn’t mind getting down and dirty. After all, who doesn’t like a little
tumble once in a while? I've always wanted to try out that war scream tactic mum was always telling me about....

2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come
across a frail old man with a walking stick. He collapses in front of you,
falling to the ground with a sharp thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch
of gold coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the
pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?

Answer:
-What do you take me for, a thief? Help the man up of course. And if it were some trap I’d be able to take care of myself (after all, I didn’t grow up 112 years in a forest for nothing.) Honestly though, what business would he have traveling alone through the forest? I’d definitely tell that man to get some common sense, as well as some protection. Or I can spare some time and accompany him the rest of the way, at least until he’s somewhere less dangerous…

3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across
a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of
it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his
carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle
for a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for
prices and the discussion involved).

Answer:
-It would be a great opportunity for trinkets, as
well as maybe fabrics or new strings for my harp. You can never tell what you can
find. It seems he’s selling just about everything as promised. The
merchandise is wonderful, really! Bolts of fabric, random spices as well as harp strings! But a bit
overpriced… But what really caught my eye was the bolt of fabric propped up against the old oak table set up infront of the carriage. Let’s see if my practiced ‘persuasion’ can come in handy....

I heard the familiar greeting "Hail!" and put on a charming smile, returning the formal greeting.

“What can I get for ya lady—mam?” he piped eagerly. She could just see his hands itching to get themselves on money.

“Depends on what you’re offering—“

I let the sentence hang a bit, before I added, “and
what you would like in return.”

His eyebrows rise at this suggestive line. They always do. Grabbing the purse at my side I saw his face visibly drop. 'Dissapointed aren't we?' I couldn't help but muse to myself, holding back a laugh. As I looked up he put on that silly grin again then leaned one hand
on the bolt. “Howabout this one here? It’s real nice you see, from a far away
land. One of a kind and only 80 mias.”

Now it was my turn to raise my eyebrows. Looking behind his
shoulder it was obvious there were at least a dozen other bolts just like this
one, crammed in the back of his carriage. But it was good fabric.
“Even for a pretty lady like me?” I teased, reaching into my
purse. He held out his hand eagerly and I dropped only 60 mias in his hand. “How
about this? We make it 60 mias if you
throw in one more bolt of this? It seems you have plenty of there in the back.”

He was obviously flustered, dropping half of the mias as he
turned to check for himself if the bolts were truly showing. I cleared my
throat and added, “And I’ll leave out the part about the extra ‘one-of-a-kind’s
when I recommend this shop to some friends. It would be a shame if you had to leave this area so early, especially when there are so many possible buyers.” Too bad he'd have to leave anyways. I new some pretty good gossips around town who wouldn't mind adding a new one to the collection.

It honestly hurts me to deny this app, it's very rare to read such a good biography, but there are some things that can't be ignored.

  • Your father can't be human. That would make you a half-breed, and, therefore, you would receive the curses from both sides of the family; infertility and short lifespan. If you drop that, you'd be fine though.
  • Your ORQs (Open-Response questions) should be written all like the third, dialogue and story.
  • Try to fix the BBCode so the answers are colored different from the questions.

I loved your app, and I'm certain if you fix these you'll be accepted. Good luck, remember to wait 24 hours before reapplying, and feel free to PM me if you have any questions.
