A Ship Laden With Goods Sails From The Human Capitol

The Snapdragon lurches slowly out from beneath the massive earthen arch of Oren, obviously laden down with a large shipment of goods.  You watch it from afar, but through your telescope you can make out the illustriously clad captain standing at the helm, barking orders to the crewmen darting to and fro on the decks.  As the ship draws further out to sea the sails drop and she jumps forward, cutting through the waves at a remarkable speed for such a vessel.  On the deck you spy two ballista turret mounts, but as far as further armament, all you can see is a large amount of closed portholes dotting the sides.  The Talaran-Goldman Shipping Co. banner flies from its mizzenmast while the Imperial Oren Navy jack flies atop the foremast.  She is a worthy pursuit, but do you give chase?

 

((I am looking for some pirates to RP a sea battle with.  Unless you want to, there will be no permadeaths during the battle, and neither of us is allowed to take the other's vessel as prize.  I would like to shoot for this Sunday around 3-5ish CST if you can, since I'm really busy all the other days of the week.))
