How did you hear about the the Lord of the Craft?: I was looking for a good role-play server and i found you guys. =D

Definitions

In your own words define the following terms. Do not take any definitions from elsewhere!:

 

Role-playing: When you take up a certain role in a game and become the character pretty much having a whole new life. You have to forget evreything that you know and learned in your past life and start a new one with new beggingings and oppurtuniteys.

Meta-gaming: When you use ooc information ic.Like when you  say 'hi *ign*' You do not know the persons name ic but you do ooc, still you cant use it ic.

Power-emoting:I know it best as power-gaming but i think they are the same. It's when you force an action/emote upon a player example: John swipes his sword at the man and cuts his head off then automatically kills a whole army of orcs with his fists. It's preety much forceing an emote upon a player for your own benifents.

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): Avilin was born on a small farm stand with no siblings and two parents. He had hopes of becoming a successful farmer like his father but soon learned that farming was tiring and grueling work. He was also a very curious child and even invented a grip on his fathers hoe so it wouldn't give his father splinters. His family had to move out of the farm since the animals there were getting into there crops to much and there were wolves and such lurking in the woods. Avilin was five at the time when his family  moved to the very border of  Urguan.

   14 years later....

 Avilin was bored one day when he was sitting in a pile of hay looking at the clouds and thought to himself 'Hey...Why am i wasting my life here while i could be on a adventure. He told his parents about his idea and the shook their heads at first but realized that the young boy was grown up. So they gave him some food and money and he set off.  He soon found himself at the huge doors of a dwarf mountain. He wanted to find his honor and go on an adventure (like most Dwarfs). He wanted to become a miner and explore deep underground mineshafts and mines, also because he looked like a cave dwarf with dark hair and his beard worn in braids. HE also never really like the sunlight beating down on him

he enjoyed the caves.

   

Ambitions for the Future: To explore the new caves in hope of settling down, with a family.

Personality: A trustworthy man with a warm heart he is very curious and hopes to live on a farm one day.

Skills: Fast thinking, quick witted, Strong,nice and mean when threatened,

1. Whilst mining deep in the undergrounds of Kalos you see a large deposit of diamond ore at the other side of the ravine you are on. There is a very thin rock bridge that looks precariously unstable, but it is the only way to access the deposit. What do you do?

 

Answer: Avilin looks at the rock bride and says to himself 'I know what to do! i can go get some wood from the other dwarfs and we can build a bridge there!'. He quickley runs to the nearest dwarf and show's him the Diamonds! Toogther they get a plank of wood and throw one side of it to the other side of the

Cavern they get there pickaxes and rush to the Diamonds. Avilin also runs to some more Dwarfs and they start mining the diamond.

 

2. You are sitting in the local tavern with a large pint of ale in your hand - sitting nearby you is a rather young dwarf whom is clearly going through a bad time. He is crying to himself, and clutching a small wooden hammer toy. In the other corner of the room two shady dwarves are sitting whispering to each other and pointing occasionally at the dwarf. They stand up, one with a small dagger in his hand and begin to approach the young dwarf. What do you do?

 

Answer:Avilin rushes out of his seat and runs at the men, Hurdling himself at the man with the knife. Avilin gets bruised at little but attempts to get the dagger out of the mans hand. The other men in the Tavern realize what the two men were going to do to the Boy and help Avilin.They pin the two men to the ground and brig him around back one of the men tryes to break free but Avilin quickley punches him in the ribs. They throw the two men on the ground and tie them up 4 of the men from the tavern bring the murders to the barracks.

 

3. Whilst wandering through the Dwarven Caverns you hear a voice call out to you; “Oi, ye’! C’mere n’ get ye’rself an ale!”. You spin on your heel and see a heavily bearded bar-owner looking at you - a huge grin on his face, and a mug of ale in his hand. How do you react?

 

Answer:You spin on your heel and see a heavily bearded bar-owner looking at you - a huge grin on his face, and a mug of ale in his hand. How do you react? Avilin smiles and happily takes the mug of ale and pays the man. He takes his seat with a warm smile on his face.After finishing the cup he begins a detailed conversations wit hthe man on how the miners should get paied more.
