Mingpow321 285 Share Posted May 12, 2013 ((A big thanks to Yekim for writing this up!)) The Kheshig’Warboss Rramab’Gorkil struts around the palace fully clad in his Iron battle garb, along with two equally large and armoured Kheshig warriors. They begin the patrol of the lower levels of the palace, a routine check of the palace and no trouble was ever afoot in the palace, especially down in the lower sections. The trio of the placid and bored Orcs were all equally taken by surprise as a huge “SCREEEE” emits from the Beast Pen. They all drew their weaponry at a similar time, Rramab taking a longer, more drawn out movement in the drawing of his war axe than the others. Rramab made a large grunting noise; the screech of the beast was all too familiar to him, though new to the Uzg itself. Memories rushed around his head, of when himself and the then Rex, Vrogak Gorkil had taken the egg from inside the cave and it had been Rramab whom took the egg back. He remembered the fighting, the death , and the foul screeching. The Kheshig warriors point their spears towards the door of the beast pen; they get down onto one knee and hold the spears upright, awaiting the charge of whatever was inside. However; nothing was to charge, Rramab knew this; and so placed a hand on the warrior to his right’s shoulder. “Gu.” The Kheshig laid his spear aside, and drew his war axe. His training had hardened him, he knew to obey the Warboss’s orders at any time, for any reason, and today was no exception. He approached the large, iron door of the beast pen and thrust a key inside of it. He pushed the door open very slowly, hoping not to disturb that which rests within. Though he was not entirely successful, even a Kheshig is not undetectable when wearing such armour as him. What he had seen, did peak his interest. A huge, scorpion of sorts, feasting on the decaying corpse of a Dwarf, the pungent smell of death filled the room entirely. The Scaddernak slowly turned towards the Kheshig, who was to enamoured with the sight of the Scorpling had made no effort to take action against his impending doom. Rramab’s perspective was much different, all he could see was a huge Orc being leaped upon by a Scorpling, in response, Rramab rushed towards the large iron doors as the roars of the Kheshig and the screeches of the Scaddernak filled the palace. Rramab slammed the door back into position and locked it. He knew of the warrior’s fate before he did.
