Just kidding! But it does make them highly delusional.IC InformationRP Name (This includes your character’s prefix): Sa’Rana, pronounced Ray-Nuh.Character Sub-race: Kha’TigrasiCharacter appearance (Including age and gender): Rana is a female Tigrasi at the age of 19. She has medium-light brown hair with light green eyes. She has long whiskers, and her hair is medium-long. Like most Tigrasi (I hope), she has black stripes and orange fur, but hers is a tad bit lighter than the normal orange. Her tail is rather long, and her ears twitch sometimes around loud noises. Her claws appear to be very nicely taken care of, and look like they’d be pretty deadly if you got into a fight with them. She’d be considered attractive, at the height of 5’7” and a good body type. What is the personality of your character like?: Sa’Rana has a bit of a temper. She doesn’t care at all for any apes, and will usually shove them around for pleasure. But she’s kind to fellow Kha’. She likes to use force, and often breaks things, thus getting angry. She can be sweet, but tries to hide it behind a layer of toughness and pride for Metztli. She’d hurt anyone who’d dare insult Metztli or her pride. She has minor Synesthesia, and has no feeling in her hand paws.Biography (If you are applying as a kitten, please only state the name of your parents/siblings):Rana’s ChildhoodRana grew up in Anthos with a large family. She was never as close to any of her siblings as they were to her. Rana’s father was a warrior, and her mother a carpenter. She had a knack for breaking stuff, so her mother tended to keep her a bit further away from her work than her father. She learned to hunt from her father, and how to build items from her mother. She enjoyed hunting, sneaking up on her prey and catching it. Rana actually had a nice childhood, ignoring her siblings and learning from her parents. When she was fifteen, she went through her trials and passed, officially becoming an adult.Right Now and the Past Few YearsAfter Rana became an adult, she quickly gained and lost a lot of things. She gained Synesthesia. She lost her sense of touch. She gained a broken tail. She lost her family, quite literally. Rana doesn’t know how she gained Synesthesia, she actually doesn’t even know she has it! She has a minor case of it, though. She associates colors with other living beings, and will often call any plain color she sees some other Kha’, or somebody. She gained her broken tail by going to the mainlands alone for the first time. She foolishly sat down, and some ape came and stepped on her tail! She was in pain for quite a while after that, and her tail never healed quite right. She lost her sense of touch by fire. She was at a smith’s with her father, getting a few weapons for a hunting trip he was taking her on. Well, this was her first time at a smiths. She rested on both paws, which happened to rest on the Forge. Well, let’s just say she burned the nerves in her hands, and can’t feel anything anymore. She lost her family by moving away from them. She doesn’t know of their whereabouts anymore, but she’s sure she’ll find them again. Someday.Character’s ambitions within the Kharajyr:To either become a warrior/hunter, inspired by her father’s work.Character’s strengths/weaknesses:Weaknesses: Can’t feel anything at all through her hand paws, loves cake too much, has an odd tail that never healed correctly.Strengths: Has the ability to break things at will. And accidently. Has good teeth that can be used for scaring apes. I s’ppose the not-feeling-anything in her hand paws is a strength, too, in some ways. Please provide a screenshot or 3D render of your character’s skin:Situational Roleplay Questions1. You are heading home from a successful hunting trip when a group of three heavily armoured humans jump out from behind a tree and start demanding the surrender of your catch over to them. Each man has a sword drawn and they are gradually pacing towards you... How does your character react?Sa’Rana looks around, growling as they approach her. “What does yu apes wawnt weeth Rana’s fewd?” She snarls, taking a step forward to seem like she’s not scared. The three back up, a hint of fear in their eyes, but then they lose that fear, sneering and taking a step back forward. “Hand ove’ t’e catch, kitteh!” One of them yells. Rana stares straight at him, letting her gaze slowly creep over the ape. “What deed yu just cawl Rana?” “A big ol’ fat kitteh!” He yells once more, the other two breaking out in harsh laughs. Rana lets out a screech, suddenly springing forward and onto all fours, her lips pulled back to show her perfect white, and sharp, teeth. They yelp, jumping back more steps than before. They seem to shake, despite their armour. Rana knows she couldn’t get past all three of their armours, so she tries to frighten them more. She growls deeply, then slowly stands up to her full height, being about an inch taller than any of them. “Leave Rana ahlowne!” She bellows at them as loudly as possible. They start to scramble off, but one falls, and has trouble getting up from the armour. His helmet bounces off, and rolles away. The other two don’t come back to get him, so Rana takes her chance and jumps on the fallen ape, reaching out and swiping his head, making a large gash in his cheek and nose. He shrieks in fear and attempts to get to his sword, but Rana simply pushes it away from his grasp. She growls again, jumping off and picking up her catch. She sprints off, taking a few detours just to make sure they weren’t following her.2. You arrive at the temple of Metztli only to see one of your closest friends stealing the sacred blue gems from the altar, a most unholy act for a Kharajyr. How does your character react?Rana gasps loudly, not believing her eyes. She walks up behind him, waiting for a moment when the jewels are in a safe position so that they won’t break if she pushed him. He keeps murmuring to himself, saying he was sorry as he puts the gems into a tiny bag he has with him. They glitter in the light, and Rana is stunned for a moment, almost speaking another’s close friend’s name, due to her Synesthesia. She continues to wait, backing away so he won’t hear her breathing. When they finally are in a safe position, she shoves her friend hard, causing him to fall to the floor. She drops down besides him, snarling as she starts pinning his arms to the ground with a struggle. “What awr yu dewing!?” She shrieks at him, growling again. “Rana! Pease! Du nawt hawrm the jewals! I need tham fawr meenaws!” He cries, starting to plead, but Rana covers his mouth with one paw, starting to yell for the guards. As she’s waiting, she forces the bag of jewels away from him, growling all the while. A time later, the guards finally arrive, having heard the cries for help. “Guawrds! Yu awr here! Rana cawt thees Kha’ stealing the pwecious jewals!” She explains quickly as they take him, starting to drag him off. “Mul’ta!” The guards yell over their shoulders, struggling with her friend who was desperately trying to break free.3. You are in the Cloud Temple when a stout, angry little dwarf begins yelling highly racist terms towards you at the top of his lungs. Although unarmed, the dwarf continues to yell after he makes eye contact with you. How does your character react?“Hey, ye’ kitteh! Go drink yer’ kitteh milk somewhe’e else, ye’ furbal’!” The dwarf yells at her, waving his stouty little arms around. Rana looks up from her bowl of cream she had boughten, her eyes widening. “Deed yu just cawl Rana ah keety!? Rana is nu keety, Rana is prowd Kha’!” Rana states, her voice starting out shocked, then starting to raise, yelling her last line. She sets aside the bowl, standing up. She’s about two or three feet taller than the dwarf, making her scoff in amusement. The dwarf continues to keep yelling at her, jumping now. Rana watches him for a while, avoiding a few punches he throws at her legs. She finally gets tired of this, and she simply kicks him a litte, making him stumble backwards. She gleams with joy, the dwarf getting up again. “Aye! Ye’ lit’le throw ru’! I’ll ‘ave ye’ skinne’ by termorro’!” He snarls. Rana just laughs, giving him another little kick. This cycle repeats about seven times, him yelling at her, her kicking him, him falling down and getting up. Rana finally gives him a fairly hard kick, sending him down the stairs after he made a wry comment about Metztli. She growls, picking her bowl up. She accidentally make a crack in the side of the bowl, some cream starting to dribble out. She starts to walk away, but as she passes the tiny ape, she dumps the cream over his head, making him sputter.4. Fire has broken out over the jungle city and you can hear the screaming of two Kha’ nearby. As you go investigate, you notice that one of your friends and the Tlatlanni’s white-furred child have gotten themselves trapped in opposite ends of a burning building. The roof creaks above you, if you were to get involved, you would only have time to save one before the building collapsed. How does your character react?Rana yelps, the fire surrounding her as she goes to investigate. She notices two Kha’ in the burning building, the Tla’s child and one of her friends. She looks around, desperate for some help. “Hawlp! Hawlp! Rana needs HAWLP!” She yells, getting down on all fours as the smoke starts to surround her. She hears a big CRACK, and looks, only to see the roof starting to fall in. The last of the beams holding it up is slowly burning away. Rana makes a choice, as she starts to sprint towards the building, using her front paws to navigate, as she felt nothing front them. Rana makes it to one side of the building, picking the white-furred child up with her arms and running away on her legs. She looks back one last time, as the roof slowly crashes in, watching her friend die in muffled screams. She sadly turns her head around, and dodges a falling tree, the Tla’s child now unconscious from the smoke. Rana keeps running, at last bursting out into a non-burning part of the forest with the child in her arms. A few other Kha’ are there with her, and carry the both of them back to where everyone else is.Side note: Thank you for reading!
