The Hanseti Tax Edict

*Several bulletins are put up in the various taverns and public centers of information throughout the Empire, as well as pinned to the doors of each Sariant dorm room of Castle Grewynn. The notices read as follows . . .

 

It is hereby announced and affirmed by the Hochmeister of the Teutonic Order and the King of Hanseti, Mirtok DeNurem, that the Kingdom of Hanseti is and has always been a tax free nation since its very foundations as a country. And it is on this day that such tradition shall remain intact in that there shall be a continued and hopefully permanent abolishment on any taxes of any kind for each and every legal citizen of the Kingdom of Hanseti.

 

*The second half of the flier is occupied by a letter from the Hochmeister to the peoples of Hanseti . . .
