Role-playing: Role-playing to me is the way that one can take on a different persona and use it to create a role that can be understood and enjoyied by others
 

Meta-gaming: I think Meta-gaming is doing something that could not be seen or understood , such as knowing how to create a mythical weapon as a Farmer. It could also be seen as knowing something that was said Out-of-Character , such as a storyline only known by those of a different race.

 

Power-emoting: I think Power-emoting is using a action which another player can not defend against such as "cutting Bob's head off without him seeing". It's using god-like actions which ruin a game.

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long): My mother died in child birth , so my father was left to keep me and my brother alive. He developed a drinking addiction and killed my brother in a drunken rage. He told me never to tell anyone , or he would do the same to me. At the age of six , He showed me the arts of the trade. He was a natural born hunter , and could shoot any bow with ease. He showed me how to gut any animal , and the deadly vegatation from the edible.

 

At the age of eleven , my father nearly beat me to death for talking to girl. He hit me in the head with his prized bow , giving me a near-fatal blow. While trying to buy herbs for my wound , he met a women who stole his heart. They married a few months after. I was still recovering when I heard the news. My father layied dead at the steps of the local Inn. I was left with a burden that I could not handle any longer. I ran away. I ran as far as my legs could carry me. I ate what the land gave me , using large sticks as tools to make fires and hunt wild deers. This is my life so far. I arrived at a large city on my tweleth birthday. I was taken in by a family of bakers. I've learned the tricks. of the trade. How to make money from the richest buyers. It's all easy to remember.

 

Ambitions for the Future:[/b] To find a way to fortune , to develop my hunting skills that kept me alive for so long. I want to keep living the life I am now. I want to survive.
Personality:[/b] Shy , but when he starts to talk , he talks more then he should. He often speaks about secrets that others trust him to not talk about. He doesn't trust easy , not after what had happened to him as a child. Once he trusts you , he'll tell you things he doesn't tell others. He will help you anyway he can. He likes children , only because they remind him of his brother.

 

Skills:[/b] Recall is handy with a bread-oven , and can cook some tasty bread that most people are fond of. His bow and knife skills come in handy when hunting to make some money. He's good with his words , often knowing how to get the most out of people , be it infomation or other.
 

Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin):[/b] Black haired , but mostly covered with tanned clothing. Fairly muscular , but not so much as to be seen as strong. Slim , but a slighty thick neck that he wishes he did not have. Broad shoulders. 5'11 in height.

[b]1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what do you do?[/b]

Answer: As I rest my head , about to fall into a long dark sleep , I see something that catches my eye. A glimmer of a belt buckle. I look up , with one eye closed , one barely open. The figure before me is clearly of a "darker" origin then I. Then I look to my left. Tall , muscular men stand within throwing distance. I think to myself for a momment. This man is clearly up to something. I think about telling the guards about the figure. Then I notice my eyes are becoming heavier and heavier by the second. I have no issue with this man , he could be a innocent man afterall... I leave him be. I sit down on a clean bench and rest.


[b]2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?[/b]

Answer: As I wandered deeper and deeper into the forest , wondering what vegatation I could add to my supply , I see three men. Two are armed to the teeth , and are about to give the third man , a weak frail old man who can barely hold a sword , a fight which he surely could not survive. The blade attacted to my belt is createing too much noise. The old man will surely die if I leave. But If I enter the fight , who is to say I will survive? I must put myself first. I head back the way I came , hearing the clear slash of a sword.


[b]3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggle and choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).[/b]

Answer: The cool air the capital filled me with gave me the enegry that I needed to keep going. I had been searching for a reasonably strong quiver to hold my arrows , but I had no luck. Then , to my right , I saw a man selling the most wonderful goods that I could afford. I walked to the stall , asked him for a quiver that could hold my arrows , and he presented me with a leather quiver , that could hold atleast 30 arrows. I wondered how much would this be worth? I made a offer , he countered it. This repeated for minutes , until I simply walked away from the stall , buying nothing.

You kind of just jump to your father being killed without any detail. Try to explain how he died and how your character felt about it.

 

You don't include any server lore in your biography. Check our lore page and implement some into it.

 

Expand on all three of your ORQs. Add more detail and dialogue to them and try to do this in third person if possible.

 

Describe your character in more detail. With what you have said I do not really get a good picture of how he looks, thinks, and acts. Add onto that and explain even the minor details. They can help a lot when describing your character in general. Painting the reader a picture when listing the tenancies and personality as well as look of your character can be an enormous help when trying to understand what your character is.
