I realize that they and baile (I am part of baile guard) are at war but what they are doing is getting to a point of being ridiculous. I have not yet once enjoyed an rp with a carrion. And I usually enjoy being killed, if done with a good rper. They walk up to me on the street or anywhere for that matter. And kill me. I fight back but generally i'm outnumbered and die. Then they rummage around for stuff. I willingly give them my sword, bow, arrows, minas, ect. But then they want /damage 20 without fail every time. This would not be a problem but their rp lacks anything interesting. And I just die over and over again getting my stuff taken. My only hope is that someone can make sure that this constant crappy rp and constant demand of /damage 20 can stop. It's trolly and not any fun. Note: Usually if someone kills me I will do /damage 20. But these guys do it way way to often. What is the point of knockout with these kind of rpers running around? shiftnative 3103 Share Posted June 1, 2013 If I was slain in roleplay repeatedly, regardless how lacking it may be I would most likely kill off my character if I was unable to overcome my enemies. It just seems artificial to die over and over in roleplay only to return. When you are outnumbered four or five to one, you will most likely lose. We Carrions fight in groups, in attempts (ICly, not OOCly) to try to (RPly) guarantee winning. If we walk up and try to kill you, it is all RP in itself. I must regurgitate what many people say. Deal with it in RP. What matters is the fact that this occurs about every other day and is the same thing over and over again. The same old pattern. *org is walking down the road *group of carrions walk up to org. Then attack Org. *Org fights back, then dies. *Carrion group takes things off org (( do Damage 20.... Org_The_Robo thinking [wow their rp sucks and is trolly and annoying. If only they could add some flare to their rp.] My point: Your rp lacks creativity.It is not fun for both parties. You people as players are way to greedy. As a third party not in any way involved with either side, that is a shitty outlook for a villain to have. As others have said. The point of being a villain is to provide fun for the server. But I know for a fact that many villains sit on TS and troll whilst they kill people, not caring for their enjoyment. I know because I used to do it. It still happens today. He went out of his way to make a forum post expressing his dislike of the rp he is currently involved in, and all you have to off is "Sorry that you do not gain entertainment out of losing." Really? I've been a villain too, I love winning as a villain, and I used to share that mindset, so I can personally elaborate to you that that is not the right way to see things. You should be trying to improve your relations with him, not further add to the hate. On that note I also disagree with some of the actions made by the op. This did not need to escalate to a public level. Try talking your problems out with them. If you continue to find them rude or unbearable, screenshot and report them. If somebody is clearly having a problem with your RP, the very least you could do is show some common courtesy and try to hear them out, rather than say 'Nupe, we'll just keep doing this.' Excuse my language but it's pretty shitty to go through a long elaborate rp session, win, and then have the loser say: "I didn't find this rp enjoyable, I'm voiding it." This means that you are, in the eyes of any Carrion who recognizes you as a Baile Guard, openly hostile to them and that you want to kill them. It would be wholly expected for you to do the same to them, if they were outnumbered. Also, you seem to be slandering the Carrion RP,saying that it lacks creativity, is not fun for both parties, and you go so far as to call them greedy. Also, I believe that there is nothing against telling someone to /damage20, as that is standard procedure for someone who has been killed via roleplay. Perhaps you would be able to work something out if you conversed with the Carrions, talking to them privately, rather than making a topic that, in essence, openly calls them shitty RPers, thus providing a fair bit of embarrassment for both parties.
