Loss On The Field

So many dead, so many severely injured. Kaila struggled hard to work on each person she saw, risking herself more and more as she wandered further onto the field. Arrows lobbed over her, causing her to duck. She felt pain in her shoulder as one caught her as she hurried to a fallen shield. She moved back behind the barricades. The shield being dragged behind her. She relaxed as she moved behind the barricade and began work. Her bow laying faithfully by her side as she worked. The sounds of battle drowned out by her concentration on the man. However she did not mistake the sounds of someone behind her.

Turning she opened her eyes wide as she grabed for her bow, only to find her arrows used. She scoots back, ready to protect the man who had fallen and now lay still behind her. Her body trembling as she sits there. "M-Mills w-will not let you g-get away with this." she stammers trying to sound brave. Her eyes widening as the blood eagle stood over her. "I-I will m-make sure he finds out! A-aeda will n-never trust you again!" She watches as a smile crosses over his lips before the sword plunges into her chest. Her eyes widen as she moves to grab it, feeling it being ripped out of her.

Slowly the world grew dark but his smile. He had enjoyed killing her! She gasps out in pain, reaching for her dagger she coughs up blood. She looks around her seeing Shields and blackmonts falling. Farther on she sees Alexander's body, unmoving. She falls to her side as blood seeps out of her chest before her eyes slowly glaze over. The shield behind her, long since dead. Around her no one seems to have even seen the young healer pass on. As her blood begins to stain the ground around her, the footsteps of the blood eagle fade away as he runs back into battle.
 

 

((Since i died during battle and was AFK due to accidently hurting one of my foster kittens, I think she deserved a better death. No it is not a perma-kill, if you were there and want to post, feel free.))

Alistair chuckles as he rips his sword from her chest, her last breaths escaping from her cold lips

He smiles to himself, running on and attacking a nearby teuton
