Magic Teacher

Hello, My MC name is kaleb1701.

 

My role play character's name is 'Tara Swan' She is blind. She is a human, 23 years of age.

 

Bit of back story: Her parents left her when she was about 12 because it was to much 'effort' raising a blind child, she then got lost for a long time until someone found her. She has had to raise herself and try learn to navigate around a little.. She never leaves the town she is now in being 'Salvus' Because she is scared of getting lost again. She has been recommend to visit the mages guild to learn Earth Magic so that she may again 'see' but through the earth. She is often picked on for her lack of sight, and is an easy target for people who wish to kill.

 

I would not abuse magic if i were to learn it, it would simply be so i could RP being able to move around a bit better and not be afraid of going new places so she could explore the world! And she may not be as scared of bandits when they try kidnap her again.

 

Hope you consider this as i believe it would make a very interesting role play! And would fit in well with my character! Not just learning magic for the hell of it.

You're not going to find a magic teacher this way. You should do some research into magic and then decide what you want to learn, then contact the appropriate teacher privately. Every teacher I know would never take a student from a forum post. Ever.

Adding to Roxforbraynz obviously very true statement, I'd like to add I'm noticing you're trying to create a character like Toph from the The Last Airbender series. Whether this is true or not, I feel obliged to tell you Earth evocation will not allow you to actually "see" through earth as an earthbender in that example would. This may be possible through other magic types, but not anything evocation-based.

Okay thank you for your feed back guys, i guess the character is somewhat like her yes pro. silverhands. I guess im merely seeking advice? I dont know of any magic teachers and what kind of magics i can learn and what they do? Is someone able to help me out with this information so that i can further pursue the path of magic.

 

Whether its earth or not, some form of magic i believe would help enhance this characters RP. Thanks for your help and cant wait to here more replies!

Really you have to RP until you can find and befriend a teacher. It is very difficult to find one through OOC means.
