Full Name: Kira Le'thura

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):

Kira grew up in the depths of some gloomy woods along with her two older siblings, and her mother. Kira never questioned the fact that her father had never been around as she’d sort of just gotten used to the whole thought of it just being the four of them. Her family wasn’t exactly poor by any stretch of the imagination; in fact, they were actually quite wealthy compared to most of the common folk in the lands of Asulon. (Correct me if I'm wrong, I couldn't find a timeline)

At the age of seven Kira steadily came to realize just how different she was compared to the children she had been placed among. Kira always had an innocent, unburdened smile set onto her lips and harboured the mindset of someone who would happily sacrifice themselves in order to ensure the safety of others without any second thoughts, or regrets. Yes, that described her perfectly, and most had come to the same conclusion which only made it so much more depressing.

The stars had settled in the sky, and the sun’s glorious rays of light had long been replaced by the moon’s lingering reflection sprouting wherever darkness didn’t roam. Kira’s mother kept standing around by the gate entrance – lit up by the dull light emitting from the candles resting on the window shelf, praying for her daughter’s safety.

Hours passed—a day even, without any signs of her continued existence. Her family quickly grew worried as the search teams that had been deployed as a last solution only brought back reports without any clear results. They’d almost given up hope after two weeks of searching the neighbouring lands, but suddenly an unexpected turn of events occured - Kira had apparently been seen in a Dark Elven settlement nearby, accompanied by a middle-aged elf matching the description of the father she'd never been given the chance to meet.

The rescue mission immediatedly came to an end as they'd come to agree that too much would be put at risk if they were to attempt to get here back, regardless of how much many desired for this desire to be fulfilled. Kira's mother knew what all this meant, and sank into a depression shortly after as she knew that she was out of options. However, Kira's brother, Rei, wouldn't give up quite as easily as her mother, and followingly he began plotting a scheme in order to rescue his beloved sister who he held so dear.

During the upcoming elven month Rei had managed to assemble a small task force consisting of other elven teens around Rei's age who also knew about the whole situation that Kira had gotten herself into, and despite the possible outcomes they had agreed to take part in the mission without any of their parents' acknowledgement.

The sun had yet to make its appearance as the young elves began their journey, and while chit-chat often occurred in the group most of them kept quiet in hopes that anguish wouldn't begin to spur. They soon approached the gates leading into the city, and as they continued down the leaf-clad road Rei would let out a loud, resounding whistle - alerting the ones who'd chosen to walk ahead in order to secure the primary group's safety, continuing to let a rope slide down the rocky surface leading down the hill which they had chosen to function as their way across the city walls.

Rei, being one of the oldest in the group, and the leader of the operation, would stay behind at the bottom of the steep hill as the others continued to make their way onto the hill and onto the roof of one of the houses leaning up against the city walls, exclaiming: "C'mon! They're going to find us if you don't hurry up already!" This would soon turn out to be the life-changing mistake as the guards patrolling the nearby area would shout back at the youngsters almost having gotten past the barriers, "You! Halt!" Rei would turn, gazing into the distance as he'd be able to make out the unit of at least a threefold of their numbers hastily approaching them. The last two who'd already have fastened themselves onto the rope would look down at Rei, crying out: "R-Rei! D... Don't do anything stupid!" as they would be dragged up the hill by the group already waiting at the top of the hill, acknowledging Rei's noble sacrifice.

As expected Rei would shortly after be surrounded by a horde of guards who'd already be aiming spears at him, ready to pierce through his heart without any hesitation: "My, my... What've we got here? A lone rebel trying to stir up commotion?" One of them would exclaim with a sneer expression, "Any of such won't be tolerated around here, and because of your insolence you will be brought to just--" The captain would abruptly pause his speech as the valiant group of young Wood Elves would come charging down the hills, armed with either rocks or pointy-looking sticks, all shouting in unison as they rush to the now captured Rei's aid.

Rei looks up only momentarily as he'd look into their fearless eyes - they had all accepted their fate. He would shout as he'd throw himself at the nearest guard, barely making out the words of one of his friends who shortly after would be brought to his knees by the guards' overwhelming strength, "G-Get your sister! Quickly, there's... there's no time!" He hesitated before nodding, tears streaming down his cheeks as he would make use of the little time he had to climb up the rope and into the village in search for Kira.

Meanwhile, the group would be rounded up and led back to the small Wood Elven village, except for those who'd actually managed to inflict harm upon some of the unexpecting soldiers. Alone, Rei would continue his search with his thoughts running wild, constantly being reminded by what his mother had said when the report arrived, "I... T-There's nothing we can do about it then. Your father's a bad, bad man. I won't allow any of you to attempt anything silly. She'll return one day, I... I'm sure of it." He'd snicker, clenching his fist as he would continue to shout from the top of his lungs, "KIRA! Where are you?!" The villagers giving the youngster odd stares with a quirked brow, puzzled.

Suddenly, Rei would be grabbed by a hooded figure, pointing a finger at his mouth as if motioning for him to shush. Rei would abide, and the stranger would proceed to swiftly nod before heading back down the alley and into disappearing into the huts, "W-Wait!" Rei exclaimed, being quick on his feet as he'd just barely make his way inside of the hut before the door slammed shut, widening his eyes the instant he sees Kira giggling to herself whilst playing with a pair of dolls near the fireplace.

"You're... Y-You're..." Rei whispered, speechless.

"Yes. I'd ask how you know of my daughter, but I'm afraid there's no time," The hooded figure would let out a long, drawn-out sigh as he with a single pull would drag down the hood, unveiling his identity.

"Now, if you'd excuse us. I was just about to pack the remainders of our belongings. We're leaving, you see."

The boy would look up at the middle-aged Dark Elf, carefully inspecting his features. There was no mistaking it - it was him. Rei would quickly find himself reaching for the subtly hidden dagger tied onto his belt, staring him down without the least of remorse in his eyes.

The Dark Elf would let out a hearty chuckle before crouching down to pick up Kira, staring down Rei with a smug, permanent grin resting on his lips, "Oh? That doesn't seem like a wise move to make. You wouldn't want her to get hurt, right?" He'd cackle as he made his way for the door, opening it widely as he beamed the boy another piercing glance, "I'm usually not one to make assumptions. Though, I have no doubt that her mother is involved in this-- Send her my regards and tell her that I'll be taking good care of her daughter."

Rei looked up at Kira, innocent as ever and without the least of a clue. He'd snicker, feeling defeated as the door would be shut behind him. Rei bursts into tears, collapsing down onto his knees as she once more disappeared in front of his eyes.

... Years passed, and despite Rei's countless attempts to find her he would never come to succeed. Yet, he had sworn that he wouldn't quit until the day he'd be able to at least hug her once more, knowing that it would all be worthwhile ...

During the entirety of Kira's adolscence she would be taught only how to make it out in the real world, seeing the whole concept as just despite it in reality being a twisted view of the world, ignorant of how the world really works. She would barely ever be let outside, but once the day came that everyone had been ordered to flee to the docks in order to escape to Anthos in order to escape the catastrophic events that were about to occur Kira would finally find herself having managed to lose sight of her father, though, from her perspective this would of course not be a positive thing to have happened. Now, she would have to overcome these newfound obstacles on her own, and find some sort of purpose to fulfill.

Open-Response-Questions
Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.

____

1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of older elves are mocking a small elven child. How do you react?

Answer:

Kira inches a brow at the gathered crowd as steadily edge herself closer to the scene, unknowing of what's occuring in front of her eyes. She'd use the best of her abilites to be as sneaky as one can be, thinking back at what she had previously been taught, frowning as she would steadily begin to make her way back onto the barely-visible road before taking another route to reach her destination, knowing that involving herself would only mean trouble for her.

2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come across a frail old man with a walking stick. He collapses in front of you, falling to the ground with a sharp thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch of gold coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?

Answer:

Kira lets out a resounding yelp as she'd back off, exclaiming: "Eeep! A-Are you alright?!" she would cower, unsure of what to do as the frail, old man would look at her, utterly confused. Kira steadily approaches him as she hesitatingly reaches down for him to grab a hold of her hand in order to get back onto his feet, not even having given the coins the slightest glance. The man would nod, accepting the offer to be helped onto his feet, unsure of the mysterious girl's motivations. Kira would blink, quirking a brow at him before looking in the direction of his glance, "Oh, oh! Are those yours? I'll get them for you!" She would nod overenthusiastically, scooting down to pick up the coins for him despite dirtying her dress, beaming him a smile before handing over the pouch for him to take, "You'll be okay, right? Right?! G-Good! I'll be going now, then!" Kira would once more smile at him reassuringly, leaving the man ambivilent as she once more runs off into the forest.

3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle for a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for prices and the discussion involved).

Answer:

Kira repeatedly drums two of her fingers against her cheek, uncertain what to make of his claims. The humming sound that she'd be making would steadily become louder till she with a single shrug would beam him a short-lasting while before twirling about to head off again, "Ta-ta!" She'd say, just loud enough for him to hear as she would already be on her way. The tradesman would let out a huff, hurrying over to the elf to block off her path as he with an insisting voice would state, "Now, now. There's no need to suddenly run off. I'm just trying to get by here, alright? I -might- have exaggerated the amount of vares I've got for sale, but it's all for a good cause, Ma'am!" He'd give her a firm nod as he's met by Kira's carefree giggle, shrugging off his speech as she would continue off the road in hopes that he wouldn't follow her since he'd be forced to leave behind his carriage. The tradesman would mutter to himself underneath his breath, "... I'm REALLY growing tired of these stingy elves."

Off-topic: Sorry about cutting the background story short at the end! I'll probably elaborate it at some point as it might have been a tad disappointing!
