Inability To Upload Account Avatar On Forums

I have been attempting to upload a custom avatar to my forum account to no avail. I am not sure what the issue is. Most of them are .gif images. I am not sure if this is a forum problem or my own computer/browser.

 

Any solutions or recommendations would be welcomed.

Do they upload, but not animated? Or just not upload at all?

I can fix the animation if that's the issue.

I suggest trying to upload them to a site like www.imgur.com and then use that to see if the forums will accept it.
