A Peace Amongst The Woods

In malinor's main square sits a little girl, she has a few books next to her and she also has a small pile of flowers next to her, she seems to be giving them out to passerby.

Elindor is dragged up to the little girl by the dog Milo pulling ecstatically at a rope that connects them. The dop leaps up trying to lick the girls face. Elindor grabs the rope and pulls it back, barking at the dog "Get off her you mangy mutt"

 

He grumbles a bit, then looks down at the flower in her outstretched arm. He nods his head to one side while looking at her and takes the flower, threading it through the rope around Milo's belly. He speaks again to the dog. "There now, aren't you a pretty boy"

 

Seeing that the dog has now calmed down, though it still tries to lick at the girls knees, he examines the books. ((Could you name any titles that may be visible?))

"Interesting reading for a little one"

"Whats /your/ name mister?"

Elindor nods, "I am Elindor and /you/ have a recognisable face"

*tilts her head "R..Rec..recognibsable? Sorry...I don't really know that word yet...." *Doesn't look to be over ten

 

"Its nice to meet you Elindor."

Elindor looks out at the forest thoughtfully

"Yet a little while and you would be leading this nation."

He kneels down to her level. There is some soft cracks as his knees bend

"What would be your first decree, High Princess Ruaonna?"

He hopes that she does not realise that he spoke her name without it being introduced.

*Ruaonna tilts her head, then she realizes he's joking

 

"I decree that everyone has cookies! and that all are to love and be friends with each other!"

Elindor laughs. Then stops, looking back at her again with concern.

"But who will bake that many cookies?"

*taps her chin, thinking for a moment

"Maybe the...no...Ah....no.... What about the Druids? Maybe they can help make the cookies?"

[Elindor 666]

Elindor laughs heartily.

"Well... I would love to see druids slaving over a hot oven."

 

"And if someone doesn't like cookies? What then?"

*thinks for a moment

"Then let there be cake! and Pie! And apples!"

Elindor nods again.

"It is a good thing elves aren't prone to gaining weight or the forest may become quite a different place when you are High Princess."

 

He looks around him at the various onlookers and develops a thought. He reaches down for the flowers.

"May I use these a moment?"

 

He levitates them one at a time, turning them each horizontally till they are in the form of a circlet. He then tightens the circle by spinning them around slowly. The stems knit in together and create a tiara of flowers. He takes it from the air and lowers it onto the little girls head, then steps back and bows low.

*Ruaonna's jaw drops when Elindor uses telekenisis, then she touches the flower tiara and watches Elindor bow, she gets up and walks over to Elindor, smiling

"If I were High princess Nobody would bow to me, I feel like it gives the person that bows a sense of inequality, I don't like that."

Elindor stands up speechless.

*Ruaonna smiles "I wouldn't make /anyone/ bow, Not the elves, not the halflings, not the cat people, not the dwarfs, not the orcs, not even the humans!"

*Ruaonna's ears droop

"Even though the humans may have hurt me..."
