Full Name: Alec Deryth

Current Age: 160

Sub-race (if any): Wood Elf

Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+
paragraphs long):

Alec as child grew up in the city of
Normandor, his father name was Marion and he owned a shop in Normandor, and his
mother’s name was Alice and she was interested in the art of alchemy.  Marion’s skills were in fletching, and he taught
his son the basics of fletching such as making a simple bow and arrow. Alec was
close with his father more than his mother, because he didn’t find much
interest of alchemy. Alec became intrigued with fletching, but at the age of 15
his father died. He was poisoned by another merchant from Normandor, because
Marion’s business was drawing so much attention that it was taking the greedy
merchants money, so the merchant poisoned him.

                After
Alec’s father died his mother and Alec tried their best to run the shop, but
they failed miserably. They were soon pore, and had very little to eat at all.
They had tried hunting or gathering herbs, but that had only lasted for a
couple of months. His mother grew week and had given all the food she had to
Alec, after a week or so his mother passed away and left Alec to go live by
himself in the wild. Alec had picked up a book about botany as a reminder of
his mother, and also to help him not to starve to death.  Now Alec is a 19 and lives in the wild, he
scavenges off what he can from old dump, and gathers herbs that are safe to
eat. He realizes he should try making his own shelter, so he makes a small tent
in one of the trees near by Normandor.

                After
about 20 years of being an outcast Alec goes and tries to find work for
himself. Alec had found a fletcher shop that was hiring. He had meet with the
owner and he started to like him from the little information he knows. The owners
name is Ronald, he had hired Alec, and he had let Alec stay in a room at the
shop. Alec had requested to work with making archery supplies, of course
because Ronald was so found of Alec he accepted his request. Alec had been
working in the fletcher shop for about 3 years now, he helped with making
archery supplies and trying to learn the most he could about it. Alec had come
too really like Ronald and thought of him as a father figure, Alec had thoughts
of leaving the shop, but he stayed with him. On Alec’s birthday Ronald had gotten
a book about archery because he noticed his love for it. About 10 years later
Alec had started reading the book that Ronald gave him. On the days he didn’t
have to work he would go back to the tree he had lived in years ago and started
to try to teach himself how to properly use a bow and arrow. Even though he
wasn’t taught properly, instead by a book he had become so intrigued with this
art he started learning the most he could. Alec wanted to become strong when it
came to archery. In the next 20 years Alec had started becoming below average
were he could actually use a bow and arrow, but was not good at it. He had
talked to Ronald and told him he wanted to leave the business because he felt
that it was time for him to move on, Alec thanked Ronald and kindly left him to
his business. Alec now is homeless and looks for new starts to success.

                Ambitions

Open-Response-Questions

Each question in this section must be answered with a
minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as
descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.

____

1. As you walk through the deep forests you hear the
sound of whispering and snickering. Upon inspection you realize that a group of
older elves are mocking a small elven child. How do you react?

Answer: Alec realizes that the older elf boys are mocking
and making fun of the younger boy. Alec goes over to the older boys and
politely asks them “Fellow elves please stop mocking this little child, he is
much younger than you.” The bigger of the two elves says “No, how about keep
along with your own business and we’ll do ours.” Alec soon replies “Again,
would you please stop antagonizing this little boy.” The little Elven boy has
changed his emotion of fear to a sense of gratefulness that Alec being a
stranger would help him. The second elf replies to Alec saying “You don’t know
why we are mocking this elf and it is none of your business, so with that being
said would you carry on.” Alec would not take no for an answer so he said “I
will defend for this boy all night if I have to, so I ask one more time please
let him go!”. One of the older elves put his hands on Alec’s shoulder and
pushed him to the ground. Alec hit with a thud, the older elves Started
laughing “Ha, we told you to go and leave this boy to us but you didn’t!” While
they were somewhat fighting with Alec the young boy had quietly ran away from
the commotion. Alec had pointed this out to them and as he did that, Alec being
fast on his feet bolted to the tree line and escaped the older elves.

2. Whilst wandering through the Elven forests you come
across a frail old man with a walking stick. He collapses in front of you,
falling to the ground with a sharp thud. Out of his pocket falls a small pouch
of gold coins, which hits the ground and splits open spreading coins across the
pathway. The man lies there, defenseless - what do you do?

Answer: Alec see’s the old man fall, and immediately goes to
the ground trying to help him up. Alec puts his arm around the old man, and
says “Are you ok?” the old man mumbles “Damn that stupid staff”. Alec laughs,
and sets the old man down on a bench, he then turns back and grabs the minas on
the floor he thinks to himself, maybe I should take a couple of these, but soon
turns down his thought. He then turns back to the old man and gives him the
minas, the old man says “Thank you, for being so kind” Alec replies politely
and says “You are welcome, now are you ok to be left alone?” the old man says
“Yes I have a spare stick that’s not very stable but will do” Alec says “Alright
then I will be on my way goodbye sir!” but the old man says quickly “Wait, here
are some minas for your kindness”. Alec then goes on with his journey in the
forest.

3. Whilst traversing the Elven Woodlands, you come across
a small clearing in which a colored carriage sits. A trader stands outside of
it and calls you over, telling you of his wares. He points out that his
carriage sells just about everything, and that he's willing for you to haggle
for a price. What does your character do? (Please include:- item, haggling for
prices and the discussion involved).

Answer: Alec goes over to the merchant’s carriage, the
merchant says “Hello sir can I interest you in buying any of my merchandise?”
Alec takes a good glimpse around his carriage. Alec finds a nice bow string and
says “Hello sir, how much would you charge for this string?” the merchant
replies “6 minas” Alec finds this price to be too high and says “How about 2
minas? “The merchant says “The original price still stands” Alec replies” I
will settle at 4 that’s as high as I go” The merchant says “Fine!” Alec pays
the merchant and continues with his day.
