A Slime Roams

As you walk arounded Malinor, you see a large gathering of people and you instantly wonder what is going on!?

Your temptations take you.

You decide to walk over to the crowd of people, stepping your way through it you see a hooded man sitting in the center.

The man turns and smiles at you, nodding his head “Story time!” he grins,
the crowd falls silent. The hooded man looks over the gathering before
starting to speak with a deep voice. . .

“Once the High Princess and her two guards set off into the forest for a
simple hunting trip which did not  go to plan! As they wandered around a
the woods for some good amount of time, an arrow flew through the sky,
hitting the pack leaders horse, Aer’mai. The horse fell down to the
ground taking Aer’mai with him and before long another arrow ripped
loose towards him, in an instant his arm went up, using it as a shield
he took the arrow!”

The man paused, taking a moment for his breath before going on. . .

“The High Princess quickly began to notch an arrow as Aer’mai rose to his feet. . .but the bandit was faster.”

His eyes gazed around once more

“The bandit had already notched in another arrow, taking aim towards the
High Princess he let it rip through the sky, yet his target was foiled
as the arrow was promptly ripped through the shoulder of Aer’mai. He
soon fell towards the ground, as he did Titania raises her bow and let
the arrow loose. . .entering the bandits chest and taking him out almost
instantly.”

The crowd looked between each other before turning back towards him.

“The unsheathing of swords were heard as two bandits rushed out the woods,
Tyras had stepped forward and engaged one of the rookie ones, as the
other, went for Titania. The rookie swung his sword downwards, Tyras
quickly smacked it away with his kiteshield and sent his blade plunging
into the man's stomach. Titania, however, used her bow as a shield,
slowly losing her hold against her sword she called out for Tyras who
soon pulled the attention of the other bandit unto him. After some time
of fighting, Tyras had taken both of the bandits down.”

The hooded man smiled and looked towards the gate.

“And thats when it came . . . a little slime came bouncing upwards, running
right into Titania’s leg as she helped Aer’mai. Tyras, who was standing
around, took too picking up the slime and putting the cute little green
thing! The slime flew through the air, landing down the road. It sat
there for awhile, shaking in fear. Tyras had felt bad for his actions,
grabbing a flower and walking over to hit, he feed the slime a flower,
it grew happy once more.”

The man smirked

“This is where the fun began. . .As Titania helped Aer’mai too her horse,
Tyras put the slime into his bag to take home. The rode back to Malinor,
Titania tended to Aer’mai and his wounds as Tyras played with his newly
found pet. . . and then Emberhard came. Ember feed the slime so much
mugs, it slowly grew to a size of one taller than a seven foot elf!”

The crowd gasped silently to themselves, their eyes wide with amazement

“Some poor little girl approached the slime and tried to pet it, in which the
slime responded to try and eat her, it’s plans foiled by Tyras and a
bystander who yanked her out. The slime kept eating and eating, it was
soon sent away from the city.”

The man nods slightly before carrying on

“And soon after. . . it returned. At this time it was bigger than the gates
and was eating trees whole! The slime bounced it’s way to the gate and
slowly began to eat it. . .It made it past the first one, dissolving it
fully as it reached the next set of gates the people gathered torches
and tried as a final attempt of defense to scare it away with fire!”

He turned away from the gate and looked towards the people with a smile as he stood

“And it worked! The slime slowly began to shrink in size all the way till it
was just a baby once more! It hiccuped innocent, unaware of all the
troubles it caused. The slime was quickly bottled and returned to Tyras
whom had set it free later that day. The slime roams free around the
woods, should it return one day, we stand ready!”

The old man smiled and turn his head and walked off without another word, the cute slime roams free till this day.
