How do we know if our application has been denied or not? Do they email us or do we have to keep looking?

Just check your application. If you click "Watch this topic"  on the top right of your application post, then you'll get a PM / email when it's accepted/denied.

A really easy way, similar to what Freya said, would be to go to the top of the forum page, where it says your forum name with the arrow pointing down, click on that and select "My content." When you click that all your posts will come up, you'll see your application and if there has been a verdict it with have either:

A: [Accepted] in the title.

B: [Denied] in the title

C: Same as before, as it has not been reviewed. 

 

You can also always just go look in the denied and accepted part of the Applications sub-forum to see if its been accepted or denied.
